Winning a race anywhere is a buzz for owners and connections.
Winning a race in town on a Saturday is a fantastic experience.
Imagine the thrill
our DYNAMIC OWNERS of fabulous middle distance galloper
PERPLEXITY (by Lonhro ex Secret Haze) felt, when they saw their much loved galloper score again on Saturday in race 1 at Doomben.
That win was their horse’s third win in a row ~ a “Hat Trick” and his 9th win overall.
It’s a rare feat in racing to bring up a
“Threepeat” in city racing !
Transferred from Sydney into the care of
“new trainer” CHRIS MUNCE in Brisbane when Chris hung up his saddle to take up training in early in 2015, the move has proved to be a masterstroke by Dynamic Syndications backed by a loyal team of owners.
Their faith owners had in their horse and Dynamic Syndications has been proven the right decision, as their horse
PERPLEXITY has thrived in the Queensland environment and the gelding
keeps banking cheques for his team of owners.
On Saturday,
PERPLEXITY won race 1 at Doomben ~ the SKY RACING Open 2000m Handicap.
Ridden a treat for the third race win in a row by leading Brisbane
jockey Jeff Lloyd, the pair are making into
a Dynamic Duo.
For the
third race in a row, PERPLEXITY was taken to the front by Jeff not long after they jumped and they controlled the race off the front and were never headed.
In his
past 3 races PERPLEXITY has peeled off final 600m sectionals that those chasing him simply can't match. Over 2000m he ran
34.74 secs, over the 2220m he ran
33.86 secs and in this race 2000m he ran
34.27 secs. Being able to rattle those splits off the front over a testing 2200m is near mathematically impossible despite the big pull the opposition get in the weights.
That was a
tough win since PERPLEXITY under the OPEN Handicap conditions, is asked to carry top weight of 59.0kgs whilst the rest are
on the limit and some take claims off that.

HAPPY OWNERS & Connections
In this race he gave runner up
Uno Five 6.0kgs (carried
53.0kgs after a claim) whilst third placed
Col ‘n’ Lil 8.0kgs (carried just
51.0kgs after a claim).
Dynamic Syndications put a story up on the website on Friday afternoon highlighting the fact we thought the horse would be a competitive chance in the race so those who took notice the $3.60 starting price was sweet.
This was PERPLEXITY’s 9th Race Win.
His career now reads: 36 starts: 9 - 4 - 4 & $398,070
Wins at: 1400m, 1550m, 2000m, 2200m (4), 2220m, 2500m
Trainer CHRIS MUNCE has developed a real affinity with Dynamic Syndications Lonhro gelding.
For Chris, Perplexity has raced on 14 occasions this calendar year recording:
5 Wins, 1 second, 1 third, 3 fourths, 2 fifths and earned $237,600 prizemoney.
