Plenty of Dynamic Runners this Weekend with 9 Acceptances
Perplexity - Looks well placed at Randwick
Dynamic Syndications will have a busy few days as we have 7 runners set to face the starter.
At HAWKESBURY – Friday:
Race 8 HIRAD #2 Josh Parr in the saddle and the first time in a while we have a senior rider aboard. A funny horse with a racing pattern of lead or bust. If he gets a race where he can lead unbothered he will give a great sight but if he can’t lead easy or elects to trail the pace he refuses to hit the line. However lead at a ridiculous pace last start in Saturday company and drops back in grade here where he finds a race without a great deal of speed on paper. Chance if things go his way.
At Randwick – KENSINGTON Track:
Race 3 MADE TO ORDER #3 looks well placed in over 1550m. Third up and Blinkers-on, Got too far back in a slowly run race second-up under a huge weight. This race looks an ideal trip and she will be ridden by Tye Angland. Well placed in this high weight handicap.
Race 7 PERPLEXITY #3 looks an ideal race for the horse third up. Big plans ahead of this stayer heading into the Summer Carnival as we aim for some of the available cups on offer. Desperately unlucky last start coming wide from the tail to miss by an inch same track and distance. Fitter and Blake Shinn takes the ride. Trackwork on Tuesday morning was excellent. Any luck he should finish in the mix again.
At GOLD COAST - Saturday
Race 1 BERGDORF #6 Very promising 3yo filly with excellent upside. Closely related to REWARD FOR EFFORT and OVEREACH, this filly just got too far back when resuming from a spell when third in a mid-week event in Brisbane. Strips fitter here and extra distance suits. Working very well but does find a strong race on paper. This filly has the ability to measure up to better races later this preparation so with average luck is hoped to be there about. Also in at Sunshine Coast Sunday.
Race 5 CURFEW #3 Works like Phar Lap but has been disappointing his past few runs. Has the ability to win with ease if he concentrates but is a bit of a thinker. Didn’t handle the gear changes and tactics last start so Blinkers back on and will be positive from the barrier. Attempting 1400m for the first time and in a tricky race he should be in the mix.
Race 5 #7 FULL BLAST His form doesn’t read well but he had zero luck last start. Going well enough to figure as a winning hope here but unsure if he will run or will be saved for another assignment next weekend.
At BALLINA - Saturday
Race 7 #12 - AL JULHARA last start winner at her first run from a spell. Needs further ground but finds a race which looks to have a fast tempo so should get a nice trail into the race. With average luck could be in the mix again here but it’s always hard for horses to break their maiden and then win again at their next start. Capable of adding a few wins together in this preparation and would expect her to be attacking the line late.
At SUNSHINE COAST - Sunday.
Race 3 #9 BERGDORF – May be saved from Saturday to run here Sunday. Looks well placed but awkward draw is only concern. Should finish in the mix with luck if she starts here.
At KILMORE – Sunday.
Race 2 #7 WEISENHIEMER - First starter with Peter Moody. 3yo gelding by Exceed and Excel ex You Smarty Pants. Taking on the older horses here on debut and will appreciate a bit further in distance later this preparation. Very much a learning curve for the horse but has trialled well. Will benefit from the addition of head gear later on but at his first raceday experience, we are happy to let him learn what the racing game is about. Wouldn’t surprise us on his barrier trial, if he finished strongly and with any luck, was well in the mix but he will benefit from this experience and whatever he does here he will improve upon. Handy type.
