The Rosehill barrier trials on Monday 3/9 featured their first Rosehill heat for new season two year-olds and it was
Coolmore Stud’s Boom First Crop Sire RUBICK providing the winner with
KRAMERIC.
Ridden by James McDonald for Waller, Krameric jumped away evenly and then drifted back to settle last in the small field before working between runners as they turned for home.
When given clear room he zipped away nicely, quickly dashing clear to win the 895 metre trial by more than four lengths under a hold.
The three youngsters behind him were well bred individuals by Snitzel, I Am Invincible and Not a Single Doubt, so this group were all bred to be special.
"He's a nice horse with plenty of raw talent, so he has a bright future," said James McDonald.
A $200,000 Magic Millions purchase from Widden Stud, he is the third foal of a winning O'Reilly mare herself a daughter of Group 3 winner De Montfort.
RUBICK
Rubick was a brilliant Group 2 winning son of champion sire Encosta de Lago from the family of champion sire Redoute's Choice.
So popular at the yearling sales this year Rubick has been installed favourite by BetEasy to be leading first season sire by winners for 2018/2019.
Rubick is fully booked this spring priced at $17,600.
Dynamic Syndications have a colt by RUBICK x BALLOONS (by Not A Single Doubt) currently in work with Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. We are delighted with him. He is doing everything right at Headquarters and the stable are very upbeat about his prospects after what he has shown us already in trackwork and jump outs.
ZEMDEGS
He is named ZEMDEGS and was named after Australia’s World Champion Rubick Cube puzzle solver Felix Zemdegs.
Importantly this colt is a Magic Millions purchase and was syndicated into a Ladies Only Syndicate so there could be a lot of good times ahead for these girls !
Dynamic Syndications also purchased a super looking filly by
Our 2yo Filly
RUBICK x WITHOUT EXCEPTION (by Flying Spur) at the Inglis Classic Sale in 2018.
Bred to be precocious, her dam Without Exception is a 1200m winning full-sister to 2yo Stakes Winner:
KRUPT – STC Todman S. Gr2, 2d AJC Kindergarten S Gr3.
And she is also a half-sister to another 2yo Stakes Winner:
AVENAY – VRC Tallindert S., LR., 2d MRC Blue Diamond Preview LR.
Deeper into her pedigree it’s the family of FLYING SPUR (Golden Slipper).
Bred to be special with the looks to match, her early work is showing that the apple doesn’t roll far from the tree.
We simply can’t be happier with any early season 2yo filly than we are with this outstanding daughter of RUBICK.
She has just had a short let-up and returns to training next week with the aim to get through to the 2yo races just after Christmas.
5% shares are $7,950 and are an absolute must for any Owners who want to own and race a genuine 2yo prospect by the stallion who is favourite to be Australia’s leading first crop sire.
