Dynamic Syndications super mare
SAVAPINSKI
(4yo b m Savabeel x Swarovski by Pins) has recorded the
"biggest winning margin"
in the Matriarch Stakes race history when she destroyed a quality field of Australian middle distance mares, to post an eased down 2.75 length victory.
SAVAPINSKI - catch me if you can ! but they couldn't !
Savapinski, ridden by Brenton Avdulla, never gave her rivals any hope, as she sprinted away in the Flemington straight to savour a the win.
SAVAPINSKI crosses the line eased down recording the widest winning margin in the history of this race
In an exciting front-running effort, Savapinksi was never seriously challenged as she took out the $300,000 Matriarch Stakes (2000m) Group 2.
Lining up for her only seventh race start, Savapinski led throughout over the grueling 2000m at Flemington and scored easily in the $300,000 Group 2 feature.
Savapinski has now raced 7 occasions for 4 wins, 1 second and 2 fourths and $267,880.
Savapinski by taking the race by two and three-quarter lengths, indicates that the four-year-old Savabeel mare will be back in Melbourne in 12 months with loftier goals.

Savapinksi, heavily backed from $5.50 into $4.80, ensured Waterhouse and Bott were the only stable to have at least one winner on all four days of the Flemington carnival when she careered home clear of Payroll ($10) with a length to Token Of Love ($21) third, just in front of the winner’s stablemate Prompt Response.
Gai Waterhouse is the First Lady of Australian Racing but the First Lady of Flemington might be currently more fitting after winning the Oaks with Pinot on Thursday, Gai’s roll continued with Savapinski.
Gai Waterhouse was the Victoria Racing Club ambassador, and capped a huge week when Savapinski ran her rivals into the ground in the Matriarch Stakes. The victory provided the Waterhouse and Bott stable their fifth win for the VRC carnival (all in stakes races), with a winner on each of the four days at Flemington.
Waterhouse, who trains in partnership with Adrian Bott, left Flemington with training honours for the week after Brenton Avdulla's perfectly judged ride aboard the Dynamic Syndications owned mare.
Gai Waterhouse had a magical carnival topped off by SAVAPINSKI's great win
"She's a mare on the rise,"
Waterhouse said.
"I just felt this race would be a nice target which I've had for her for a while and I thought she'd be hard to beat.
"I knew if she used her speed they would not run her down.
"She just skipped away from them. She was like a little bunny rabbit."
“We'll come back again and maybe win it again next year."
Dynamic Syndications Savapinksi, was beautifully rated in front by top Sydney jockey Brenton Avdulla.
Brenton Avdulla celebrates a Dynamic win
“I don’t know what to say about it to be honest,’’
Avdulla said.
“I won on her at Hawkesbury one day, and I said to them, ‘She won’t be at her peak until 2000m’.
“They kept holding her back, she didn’t get to 2000m until today as they obviously had her set for this to be her Grand Final day.
“The plan was to try and lead. We flowed along and I kept building the tempo from the 1000m onwards. She dropped them around the bend and the polish kicked in late. She was too good for them.
“She might lack a turn of foot, but as Gai always used to tell me, she’s has plenty of good horses that were one-paced, and classic example is this little girl.’’
Avdulla said he gained confidence knowing Savapinski would be fit for Saturday's race.
"She's so tough and honest and I just let her run,"
Avdulla said.
"Gai and Adrian's horses are flying at the moment and that gives you the confidence to ride them like fit horses and she wasn't going to stop.
"It's her first preparation and there's still plenty of improvement to come."
"I won on her at Hawkesbury one day, and I said to them, 'she won't be at her peak until 2000 metres',’’
Avdulla said.
"They kept holding her back, hasn't got to 2000 metres yet, but they obviously had her set for grand final day today, maybe about two months ago, they had her prepped ready to go today."
SAVAPINSKI was purchased by Dynamic Syndications as a yearling for $70,000 NZD at the 2015 NZ Select Yearling Sale Lot 729.
