Brenton Avdulla took the riding honours when co-trainers
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott produced
Dynamic Syndications odds-on favourite SAVAPINSKI ($1.35) to win with ease race 3 at Hawkesbury on Thursday, the ONTRACK ENGINEERING Class 2 1600m scoring by 1.1 lens x 2.92 lens in 1:35.00 and last 600m in 34.22.
It was a painless affair for connections with
SAVAPINSKI jumping well and pushing forward to sit at the girth of the leader and eventual runner-up Rouge Missile.
The duo stayed in this position through the top of the straight when Brenton asked our mare to extend and she quickly dashed to the lead and maintained this advantage without the mare being put under any extra pressure through the line.
Two weeks earlier
SAVAPINSKI was a $1.35 favourite at Gosford but upon arriving on course, twisted a shoe and stood on the nail puncturing her sole so was a late scratching.
SAVAPINSKI had also been $2.40 favourite on Wednesday over 1600m at Warwick Farm but as a back-up plan we had also accepted the day after at Hawkesbury.
When acceptances came out for Hawkesbury, we had to run there - believing we could win with ease giving our mare a kinder run which would fit nicely as we progress through her grades and that’s the ways it panned out.
SAVAPINSKI picked up another $16,630 for her owners and took her record to 4 starts: 3 wins and a 4th in town and earnings of $52,130.
We are excited to get her up in trip as we believe she can make into an exciting middle-distance candidate.
She is a daughter of SAVABEEL the Cox Plate Winner and Champion sire in NZ. He was a horse that Dynamic Syndications boss Dean Watt had syndicated and it is very pleasing to be able to have one of his progeny showing so much for us.
Congratulations to the great team of Dynamic Owners that race Savapinski:
