Santa delivered a wonderful gift to our Dynamic owners of
ARGIE BARGIE (Snitzel x Laurinel Argie) when she broke through to record a very well deserved race victory on Boxing Day at Ballina.
The Chris Munce trained Argie Bargie has now recorded 13 starts: 1 Win, 4 Seconds, 2 Thirds.
It was impossible to believe the 4yo mare was still a maiden leading into this event, having been placed at
Rosehill and Doomben but hadn’t had her photo taken prior to this Boxing Day event.
Argie Bargie's 6.5 x 2 length demolition of her opponents, nicely increased the value of this beautifully bred mare's broodmare commerciality.
Credit is given to the ride of Jackson Morris who was confronted with the car park draw his of 12 of 12 over the 1310m event on a Slow 7 surface.
As the gates crashed back, Argie Bargie jumped quickly and pushed forward to take the lead after the 150m mark and then, rolled across the face of the field to hold the lead on the fence. At the 900m mark a 100/1 speed hump came up to annoy her and attack for the lead.
Jackson held Argie Bargie together under a tight hold still leading the fence they approached the home turn.
Then Jackson pushed the “go” button as they entered the straight and she zoomed away to score an impressive win.
If ever our team at Dynamic had a horse that deserved to have won a race for its owners it was
ARGIE BARGIE.
As they say all good things come to those who wait and now Argie Bargie has gained the confidence of a big winning margin, it is hoped the mare can put together several wins now that she has broken through with this confidence builder.
Well done to this patient group of owners on your race winning Success:
