Snitzel equalled the long-standing record for most two-year-old winners by a sire in the southern hemisphere season with a debutante Winner on Saturday.
Snitzel was gifted with his 30th individual 2YO winner for the season, equaling the record set by Without Fear in the 1975-76.
His tally includes one juvenile winner in South Africa.
Snitzel’s oldest progeny are now rising nine. This season 139 of his progeny have won 215 races worldwide including 128 individual winners of 199 races in Australia. They include seven stakes winners (five in Australia) and 19 stakes placed (18 in Australia).
Snitzel's 30 juvenile winners have won 40 races this season and include stakeswinners El Divino and Modern Wonder and another 13 city winners.
His Queensland filly Spot The Diff won five times this season ahead of six dual winners - El Divino, Russian Revolution, Thronum, The Seductress, High Conviction and his South African winner Simply Blue .
Snitzel will also finish in the Top 10 on the Australian General Sires' premiership for the fifth successive season.
Three colts by Snitzel topped each of the three major Australian yearling sales and five of his colts made $1 million or more this year led by Australia's top-priced yearling of 2016, the brother to El Divino and half-brother to Winx purchased for $2.3 million by Gai Waterhouse and Julian Blaxland.
Breeders have sent him an average of 225 mares for each of the past four seasons and Arrowfield Stud is reporting that he is fully booked for 2016 despite his service fee rising to $110,000.
Snitzel, a resident with his sire Redoute’s Choice at Arrowfield Stud, won four of his six starts at two including the Breeders’ Plate on debut, the Skyline Stakes and Doomben Tommy Smith.
At three he added the G1 Oakleigh Plate, G2 Challenge Stakes and G2 Up And Coming Stakes and was second in the G1 Newmarket at Flemington before an early retirement.
