On Saturday the
Spring Carnival was in full swing and some of the results proved
windfalls for various teams of
Dynamic Owners thanks to pedigree updates.
MISS HUFFLEPUFF
One such example belonged to our Team that races
MISS HUFFLEPUFF (Encosta De Lago x Miss Helga). This is a pedigree that has continued to strengthen since we purchased our filly at Easter in 2012. She already has won
2 races for
Dynamic Syndications but that’s not the only improvement. She has seen her full brother
LIBERATOR become Champion Stayer in HK winning at Gr1 level over 2400m and being Gr1 and Gr3 performed as well.
On Saturday her Stakes Placed Full Sister
PINK SIRIS produced her own Stakes Performer when the
ECHO GAL (Stratum x Pink Siris) was runner-up in the
ATC Heritage Stakes LR over 1100m. This was a fantastic pick-up for the pedigree page.
I AM INVINCIBLE x PREDESTINED filly
Another good result was a nice pick up for the
Dynamic Team that race our
I AM INVINCIBLE x PREDESTINED filly with PETER MOODY. On Saturday at Caulfield
ROUGH JUSTICE won race 1 for 3yo’s under Set Weights and Penalties. Whilst this race was not a Black Type event, nonetheless the pedigree page saw the addition of another city winner when
PREDESTINED’S half-brother
ROUGH JUSTICE led throughout to score in very quick time. The win was certainly high class and suggests a black type result is in the wings. It was only a few weeks ago
PREDESTINED’s half-brother
HARD STRIDE won a Stakes Race in Melbourne. This family is certainly on the move and proves to be a wonderful pick up for our team.
DENMAN
In the same race, exciting sire
DENMAN produced a new
Stakes Winner as KURO was successful.
DENMAN was runner-up last season on the first season’s sire’s premiership, and his progeny have been off to a good start early in their 3yo season.
DENMAN x QUILT Filly
Dynamic Syndications offered earlier this year a super filly by
DENMAN x QUILT with Peter Snowden and our clients in their filly are rightfully excited about the prospects of their own filly into the future.
FASTNET ROCK
It was also another good day for outstanding sire
FASTNET ROCK. He added nicely to his resume with the following results:
First -
FIRST SEAL won the Gr2 ATC TEA ROSE Stakes 1400m at Randwick
2nd –
HELD HOSTAGE in the SAJC Penang Trophy LR over 1800m at Morphettville
He also had success in non Black-Type races with
First – FIREHOUSE ROCK Race 2 Caulfield
First – FAST ‘ N ‘ ROCKING Race 3 Caulfield
2nd – ANATINA Race 3 Caulfield
2nd – PICKIN’ TIME Race 4 Caulfield
REDOUTE'S CHOICE
Reigning
Australian CHAMPION SIRE – REDOUTE’S CHOICE added a Black-Type placings with:
2nd -
A TIME FOR JULIA – Race 8 Sportingbet Sprint 1200m Gr3
Whilst the non Black-Type race
3rd – RYKER in Race 3
HIGH CHAPARRAL
Over in New Zealand, a son of
HIGH CHAPARRAL named
ARIZONA JAZZ was 3rd in the 2000m Classic Prelude LR at Te Aroha
Whilst in South Africa improving High Chaparral (IRE) three year-old Parachute Man posted a stylish win at Durbanville.
Parachute Man is prepared by Justin Snaith for Hassen Adams, Parachute Man took the 1600 metre event by a length and a quarter at his fourth start.
Parachute Man was a $42,000 Inglis Premier yearling is the third winner for stakes-placed Danehill mare Fiammarosa, a full sister to Group 1 winner Shinzig.
DETTORI
Finally, the day rounded off nicely when
TERRAVISTA won the
ATC THE SHORTS Gr2 1100m. Terravista is a quality racehorse having won 8 races and 1 second from 11 starts. We enjoyed seeing this result our team that races
DETTORI because
DETTORI defeated Terravista in a recent Barrier Trial at Warwick Farm. This was an encouraging result as we were only having our first trial back from a spell and had plenty of improvement. We led all the way and didn’t get run down.
DETTORI has only won a couple of Bush Races at Port Macquarie 1506m and Tamworth at 1600m so far. We are hopeful of a few more photos on the wall with
Terravista franking the trial form.
