The Dynamic Trainers and horses put in good performances over the weekend to further establish Dynamic Syndications as Australia’s leading racing syndicator. After the debut win of Medvedev on Thursday, we were looking to continue our strong form with some solid performances around the Sydney region.
It all started on Friday night when Dynamic Syndications own Dream Choice was a victim of circumstance and extremely unlucky not to be our 305th overall winner.. After realising that there was little pace in the race, we decided to go forward with Dream Choice who was put in a great spot by champion jockey, Jim Cassidy. But after pinching a gap rounding the turn, it was a riderless horse that caused Dream Choice to be pushed off the track to a position where he was 4 and 5 wide. Dream Choice fought gallantly but we had seen all night that the better running was on the fence and we had already lost well over a length when we couldn’t rail up as intended. He was unfortunately nabbed right on the line (a Head was the official margin) by previous Gr3 winner, Uate who had fitness a fitness edge on Dream Choice. In saying that, it was a terrific run all the same and we anticipate this to be Dream Choice’s best preparation to date. He looked a picture in the yard pre-race, has now really grown into his body and currently looks a superb racehorse who is keen to go racing. David Payne has done a great job with the Redoute’s Choice gelding and his hoof is well and truly on the til more so after Friday night’s performance.
Dream Choice was unlucky to finish 2nd on Friday night
Mick Price and Peter Moody had winners on Friday night after they both saluted at Moonee Valley under lights. Both Peter and Mick went on to have another city winner on Saturday which brought their metropolitan tally to 24 and 13.5 respectively. Mick Price saw Fast and Free made light work of his rivals at Morphettville winning comfortably while it was more black type success for Moody when Mid Summer Music won the LR Kevin Heffernan Stakes at Sandown on Saturday.
Peter Moody also had the Dynamic Syndications owned Magniloquent run at Rosehill on Saturday. Magniloquent put in a sensational effort to finish second in his city debut and showed that he is a lovely stayer in the making. Looking to the future, he has confirmed in his past few runs that he is up to running trips of 1600m and beyond. We feel he has plenty of upside to this improving galloper and we look forward to the second half of his three year old campaign.
Magniloquent showed he will be a promising stayer finishing 2nd in his city debut
Chris Waller had yet another city double on Saturday when Sacred Star and Catkins both won at Rosehill. Chris has had what can be only described as an outstanding season to date producing a grand total of 60.5 metropolitan winners which puts him 22 above his closest rival in the race for the Australia wide metropolitan premiership. This year, his metropolitan strike rate sits at 19% and news has filtered through that Chris will be looking to open a satellite stable in Melbourne to alleviate the need to run stablemates against each other. With the imminent closure of the Patinack Farm stables at Flemington, this means 50 boxes should now become available which could see Chris with 10-20 boxes in Melbourne sooner rather than later.

Now that we have come to the end of the Spring racing carnival, we can look back and recognise the wonderful achievements that all of our trainers have seen. As well as our previously mentioned trainers In Moody, Price, Payne and Waller, Gerald Ryan tasted stakes success on multiple occasions while Darren Smith sits firmly inside the top 8 trainers in the NSW trainer premiership. We have also seen Jason Coyle, Gary Portelli and Matt Dunn have success in city outings over the carnival and are sure to see this trend continue.
It will be another busy week for our trainers as Dynamic are due to have a number of horses line up starting tomorrow at Cessnock where Alleviate and Heaps More are likely to run. We will also likely see Trick Shot, Masterstroke and Excellent Point run in city meetings later this week with Specific Choice also a chance of running on Saturday.
We congratulate all our trainers on their strong performances over the spring racing carnival and expect to see just as strong a showing as we head into the summer months! When you combine the best trainers in this country with Australia #1 horse syndicator, you give yourself the best chance of achieving success. This is what we give you at Dynamic and we are always happy to see new clients jump on board and just as excited to see familiar faces returning to experience more success with us.
