With the sunshine out (for now) and the days getting albeit marginally longer, Dynamic are preparing for another blockbuster Spring season.
Headlining the program is Dynamic Syndications multiple Gr1 winner, Atomic Force who will be looking toward the Patinack Farm Classic and a possible meeting with Black Caviar.
The Dual Group 1 winner was outstanding last preparation where he had 18 starts and managed to earn a prizemoney cheque at each start.
His victories included a Benchmark 95, a Welter, 2 Listed Races in the Maurice McCarten and The Heath and then 2 Group 1 Races in The Galaxy and the NZ Railway.
Atomic Force, seen here winning the Slickpix, will return during the Spring
He also added placings as follows: 2nd Gr1 NZ Telegraph, 2nd Gr2 Victory Stakes, 3rd Gr3 McEwen, 3rd Starlight Stakes LR, 3rd Magic Millions Sprint and 4th Gr3 Sebring Stakes.
This preparation has been carefully mapped out by the Dynamic Team and he is looking in the best shape of his life after having a well-deserved spell following his trip to NZ.
We look forward to more race track success with Atomic Force before looking at the option of heading back to NZ for their main races over the Summer.
Like Atomic Force, Midnight at Ascot is a horse that also matured and improved since arrived at the stables of Darren Smith.
After being winless in his first 12 starts, he has thrived in the country surroundings with Darren Smith and has managed to win 7 of his next 20 starts with a further 6 placings.
Midnight At Ascot was one of Sydney's most improved gallopers last year
In October of last year, Midnight At Ascot showed that he was up to black type races when he finished an unlucky 2 lengths 3rd after being blocked for a run in the LR City Tattersalls Lightning Handicap at Randwick.
In the coming season, we believe that he could again improve and this should be able to give him a chance at black type races in either Melbourne or Sydney.
To think that in under 2 years he has gone from a maiden horse who hadn’t won in 15 months of racing, to a stakes quality galloper is a credit to Darren Smith and the rest of the Dynamic Team.
We are sure that Midnight At Ascot is capable of winning more races and hopefully he can live up to the potential he has shown in his previous two preparations.
Another horse who we will be on the lookout for is promising 2yo Secret Delight who has had 3 starts for 2 victories to date.
Secret Delight has won its last two in city class
This impressive filly has shown plenty on the track after trialling in excellent fashion and then being badly held up on debut at Scone.
Since that time Secret Delight has gone on to win two city races on the trot and earned herself a chance at some stakes races in the Spring.
Her current plan is to look towards races like the Lr Rosebud, the Gr3 Silver Shadow and the Gr1 Golden Rose where she will meet some of the best 3yos in the country.
David Payne has done an excellent job with this Encosta De Lago filly out of Divine Secret and we will be watching and waiting to see if the plans can produce further success with her.
We have a number of other runners who will be resuming in anticipation for Spring Racing and we are very much looking forward to the new season.
Make sure you keep an eye out for the Dynamic Colours this Spring as we continue the eternal quest of satisfying their racing dreams.
