Dynamic Syndications were delighted to see a great result for former Dynamic galloper, TENANT’S TIARA on Saturday. This weekend we saw her first foal 2yo get to the racetrack and win in commanding style, much to the delight of team Dynamic.
TIARAZOU (2yo f. ZIZOU – TENANT’S TIARA) was extremely impressive winning on debut at the Gold Coast by an official margin of three lengths over 900m. Ridden perfectly by veteran jockey Tony Pattillo, Tiarazou looked a ready-made racehorse and strode out comfortably to get the money for trainer David Kelly.
She will certainly come into Magic Millions contention on the back of this outstanding effort.
Breeding is one of the most important aspects when buying a horse at sales. Dynamic Syndications always make sure we do our due diligence before buying any yearling and when we originally secured the now broodmare, Tenant’s Tiara in 2005, it was no different. She was originally purchased by Dean Watt for his company Dynamic Syndications for just $20,000 at the 2005 Magic Millions sales and right from the very start looked as though we had a saleyard steal.
She did not let us down and became the perfect example of how you don’t need to pay a lot of money for a horse to perform well on track. Our Dynamic clients had to wait until she was a 3yo before seeing her on the track however their patience was more than rewarded. Tenant’s Tiara went on to win $254,000 for her clients and was retired to stud with a record of 9 race starts for 4 victories and 2 placings. Among her race wins was the LR Eskimo Prince Stakes and the Fireball Quality. She also finished a close up 2nd in the Gr2 Sapphire Stakes and returned a huge profit for her clients on track, as well as a lot of fun with her.
In early 2009, it became obvious she needed to become a broodmare and therefore we sold her at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale where she was knocked down for $130,000.
This was much to the delight of leading breeder Stuart Ramsey and his team at Turangga Farm who purchased the mare after they recognised that she would be a perfect mating for their resident stallion, ZIZOU.
She has now been in foal three times (all to Zizou) and it is already proving to be money well spent.
Tiarazou was sold earlier this year at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sales when she was originally passed in for $40,000 before being sold privately after auction. The filly rated as one of the “Best Of Sale” lots and had a pedigree rating of A 236%. This came as no surprise to Dynamic after we knew that the well bred family behind her, kept throwing winners and she too could run having displayed impressive feat on track.
She has already proved to be a good buy as the now 2yo TIARAZOU had her first race start for a dominant win on the weekend at the Gold Coast. She made easy work of the 900m short course being eased up on the line to win comfortably and gave the impression that there will be plenty of wins to come.
This filly certainly looks to have a promising future on her hands and we are thrilled for Stuart Ramsey and his team at Turangga Farm that they have produced another top quality individual. We are also delighted for the Team that race her and her trainer.
Lot 756 at the upcoming Magic Millions sales is a full brother to Tiarazou and is sure to now attract plenty of interest following Saturday.
Dynamic Syndications will be at the sales and are sure to run a close eye over this second foal – a colt. Dynamic always make sure we do our due diligence with every horse at the sales. So we are very keen to see this colt and continue to watch the progression of Tiarazou.
We congratulate Stuart Ramsey on finding the right cross for our former Stakes Winner and we look forward to see what her foals look like in the coming years.
