There isn’t a more inform trainer anywhere in the world! I’ve checked! Chris Waller has been producing city winners like it is going out of fashion and the whole of Australia is watching on in anticipation.
Wednesday at Canterbury was no different where we saw another 3 winners for Chris as he once again went clear in the trainer’s premiership for the 2012/13 season. It is becoming common practice for Chris to train two or more winners on a metropolitan card and here at Dynamic, we love every minute of it.
Chris added another three to his tally on Wednesday
Chris boasts an unmatchable record this season having already raised the bat for the half century of winners in just over 2 months. Chris has produced a total of 52 victories (plus another two dead heats for first) which puts him #1 in all trainer premierships he is eligible in. With a strike rate of 24.2% of winners from 223 starters, this astonishing record keeps getting better every week. What is more impressive is that 43.5 of these wins and have come in city class!
The three winners that Chris produced at the track on Wednesday were Thubiaan, Heart Testa and Catkins who all won without any fuss. This treble will be supported by 11 more runners this weekend during Epsom Super Saturday at Randwick. It would be no surprise if Chris’ horsemanship brings him to the winners circle on multiple occasions in what is regarded as one of Sydney’s biggest racedays.
Dynamic always do their due diligence in selecting their trainers for each and every horse and at present, Chris has ten individual Dynamic runners in his care. Although six are yet to race, the hard work we both put in are well and truly paying dividends on the track.
Dean and Chris have have developed a great relationship over the years
The four that have raced have all showed us something on the track; 5yo mare Icy Mist is a city winner with a total of 3 wins and 6 placings in her 19 start career, lightly raced 4yo Trick Shot has had 4 starts for a city win and two 2nds, Blowin’ Your Mind has had two starts for a city placing with a win just around the corner and finally Specific Choice is an undefeated 3yo colt looking to improve on his record next Wednesday at Warwick Farm.
We would have no hesitation in handing more horses to Chris and his expert team at Rosehill again especially with the results that he continues to produce on track. We expect the current crop of Dynamic horses he has at his disposal to keep improving and win more races as time progresses.
Chris has been the leading trainer in Sydney the last two seasons and also was the #1 trainer of metropolitan winners, a trend that looks set to continue. In the Australia wide metropolitan trainer’s premiership this season, he leads by 19 winners.
The amount of hard work and commitment that goes into every Waller runner is a credit to the whole team. Chris’ expert team are all deserved of praise and we wish them all the best for the weekend and the rest of the season.
On a side note, we also wish the best of luck to Chris Waller’s racing manager, Liam Prior who this weekend at the Inglis Saleyard will step into the boxing ring all in the name of charity! Liam is due to fight against James Price of Inglis at the Charity Boxing Challenge on Saturday Night. The money raised from the event will go to The McGrath Foundation, Bowel Cancer Research, Trek Kokoda and the Sydney Children's Hospital. Four very worthy causes. We wish Liam the best of luck and hope that he helps raise a lot of money and brings a new trophy back to the Waller yard on Saturday night.

Make sure you keep an eye out for Chris’ runners this weekend and any horse that dons the Dynamic silks trained by Chris Waller.
