Former Golden Slipper winner and DYNAMIC sire SEBRING has stamped his
foot down in the first season stallion department siring two stakes
winners in consecutive days .
SEBRING has been a brilliant sire to date
SEBRING’s good run started on Sunday when the DAVID PAYNE trained
CRITERION came into Slipper contention with his win in the Listed Black
Opal Stakes in Canberra on Sunday. SEBRING made it two stakes winners in
as many days when brilliant filly BRING A RING produced a barnstorming
run to win the Listed SAJC Sportingbet Stakes at Morphettville on
Monday.
The Adelaide based BRING A RING was resuming from a spell following an
easy debut win at the same venue back in October and looks to have
improved immensely.
She was given an excellent ride back in the field by MATTHEW NEILSON and
produced an explosive late finish to surge through and win the 1050
metre dash by 2 ½ lengths with another SEBRING filly AUSTRALIA DAY
running home for third.
Bring a Ring becomes the third stakes-winner for Widden Stud based
SEBRING joining DISSIDENT and CRITERION, the dual Gr1 winning son of
More Than Ready (USA) is leading the first season sires by individual
winners and stakes-winners.
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS purchased a cracking SEBRING colt from the most
recent Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne. This lovely colt was prepared
by Werai Park Stud and sold to DYNAMIC for what looks to be huge unders
at just $45,000. Considering his exceptional breeding and outstanding
conformation, we have no worries picking him up for this bargain base
price.
Our SEBRING - LADY DIVA colt
Our colt is out of a genuine stakes quality family with the mare LADY
DIVA, who won over $120,000 in prizemoney herself, being a half-sister
to the stakes winners RED ARROW and ABLE CHOICE. Our colt’s second dam
is the impressive dual Gr1 winner, LADY JAKEO and is in the same family
as stakes winners FIFTH AVENUE LADY, MISS JUDGEMENT and recent Gr1
Oakleigh Plate winner MRS ONASSIS.
There has always been a big opinion of the dam as a broodmare with Werai
Park originally paying $420,000 for her off Vinery Stud going back to
2006. One of LADY DIVA’s daughters, LADY HEPBURN (b MORE THAN READY)
fetched $320,000 at the NZ Premier Yearling Sale in 2007. There was a
huge wrap on the MICK PRICE trained LADY HEPBURN after she won her first
start in commanding fashion blowing away a quality field by 3 lengths.
However after a number of injury problems, LADY HEPBURN was retired to
stud after only three starts. This was disappointing for all involved as
LADY DIVA looked to have a superstar on her hands before fate took its
course.
Our colt is extremely athletic and looks to be a great prospect for 2yo
racing that could continue to train on into his three and four year old
career. DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS believe that this colt could produce on
track what we never got to see from LADY HEPBURN and even more. A
trainer is yet to be decided for this yearling but a decision will be
made on this in the near future.
Headshot of our SEBRING - LADY DIVA colt
With the recent success of SEBRING and the fact that his progeny seem to
be getting better every time that they hit the track, this colt could
be a potential goldmine for clients who want to race a well-bred,
stunningly conformed yearling who moves well. SEBRING’s has now had
seven individual 2yo winners for nine wins total with three individual
stakes victor among them. This trend could continue over the weekend
with SEBRING having nominations in Gr3 Skyline Stakes at Warwick Farm
and in the $150,000 2yo Gold Rush at BENDIGO during their Saturday stand
alone meeting.
More information will come to hand shortly on our stunning SEBRING –
LADY DIVA colt so make sure that you are constantly checking the DYNAMIC
website.
