The following snapshot of the weekends racing delivered some fantastic results for sires Dynamic Syndications targeted yearlings by in 2014 along with a pleasant Gr1 win for a filly we syndicated and raced who is now the dam of a Gr1 Winner.
Albany Reunion Wins Gr1 Easter Handicap
At Ellerslie in New Zealand, Champion Sire Fastnet Rock celebrated a Gr1 triumph when 4YO gelding Albany Reunion (Fastnet Rock-Secret Silence, by Fusaichi Pegasus) scored by a half head in the NZ$200,000 Gr1 Easter Handicap (1600m) for 3YO+.
This was immensely satisfying for the Team at Dynamic Syndications because we had purchased and syndicated Albany Reunion’s dam Secret Silence. It’s always rewarding for us to see well-bred mares that we identified as yearlings go on and have a successful career at stud after racetrack retirement, especially when their progeny win at the elite level.
This was the first stakes success for the talented Albany Reunion who took his record to 4 wins and 3 placings (including the Gr3 Mr Tiz Trophy & Listed Newmarket Handicap) from 8 starts for NZ$190,925 earnings.
Trainer Nigel Tiley is optimistic that his stable's star Albany Reunion can go to another level when he returns in the spring.
Whilst the Fastnet Rock gelding scored an impressive win in Saturday's Gr1 Easter Handicap over a mile, Tiley believes he can stretch his brilliance out over more ground in the future. "I think we can stretch him out to 2000 metres - I don't see any reason why not and he did it tough on Saturday and he was entitled to give it away in the last 100 metres," Tiley said. "He's going to the paddock now – he's done enough and proved his point. He'll come back bigger and stronger and I want him to go out before the weather gets too bad." He added, "He'll then come back and go into pre-training and be back in the stable when he's ready to speed up in his work." Tiley said
Albany Reunion would be aimed toward the Hawke's Bay spring carnival and the Gr1 Makfi Challenge Stakes (1400m) on 30 August and the Gr1 Windsor Park Plate (1600m) on 20 September.
The final leg of the Triple Crown series, the Gr1 Spring Classic (2040m), will follow at Hastings on 4 October and a possible opportunity to try the son of Fastnet Rock over more ground.
Dynamic Syndications have a yearling filly by the boom sire FASTNET ROCK ex PRETTY FLAMINGO that we will be offering for sale later this year.

David Payne always knew the horse needed time to mature and would be suited by longer trips. "We got him for the Slipper and it just shows you there's no rules in racing," Payne said. "He's done enough this preparation. We will look at races like the Caulfield Cup and even the Cox Plate," David stated.
The Offer Wins Gr2 Chairman's Handicap
At Royal Randwick, The Offer ploughed through the mud and scored by 2.3-lengths for jockey Tommy Berry in the $300,000 Gr2 Chairman's Handicap (2600m) for 3YO+, defeating Tremec (Zabeel-Tipple, by Stravinsky) & Hippopus (High Chaparral-Straight Eight, by Danske).
