It’s crunch time for Second Season Sires as the Spring Carnival has now concluded and there are those stallions that have made a name for themselves and those that are withering on the vine.
REWARD FOR EFFORT
A review of the haves and the have not’s sees
REWARD FOR EFFORT as the dominant force coming through in the
Second Season Sires ranks.
This was again franked by
speedy Reward for Effort filly Petite’s Reward who made it three wins from six starts when saluting at Moonee Valley last Friday night.
Taking on older mares in the Benchmark 70 sprint over 1000 metres, she overcame drawing the extreme outside gate to score a determined nose win.
Petite’s Reward added another win for the stallion’s resume which sits with 14 winners this season.
The Dynamic Syndication’s Blue Diamond winner is based at Chatswood Stud.
On the Australian Second Season Sires List as at 25/11 REWARD FOR EFFORT is:
Leading Sire by Stakes Winners,
Leading Sire by Stakes Wins,
Second by Earnings and

Standing at a Service Fee of only $10,000 + GST Reward For Effort has covered another large book approaching 190 mares in 2015. It was always anticipated the progeny of REWARD FOR EFFORT would be better as 3yo’s and this is proving the case at this present stage.
He is certainly the BEST VALUE FOR MONEY of any top sire in Australia.
