Have you ever wanted to get involved in a racehorse trained by Racing’s
Leading Lady? During the month of October Ladbrokes in conjunction with
Dynamic Syndications we will be giving punters the chance to do just
that!
Ladbrokes are giving away a 5% share in a promising filly named
Delirium, who was purchased by Dynamic Syndications at the 2015 Magic
Millions Yearling Sale.
Delirium is out of Red Fever – the half-sister of Stakes winner Way West
– and is by super stallion Exceed And Excel, who produces early running
two-year-olds each and every breeding season.
Delirium showed plenty of speed when she won her first jump out at Royal
Randwick earlier this week and trainer Gai Waterhouse is confident that
the promising filly will be ready to run in some of the
early-two-year-old races when she returns from a four week stint in the
spelling paddock in November.
Place a bet on any Group 1 in October with Ladbrokes to earn a ticket into the draw for Gai Waterhouse-trained Delirium.
“She is a lovely filly,” Waterhouse said.
“She is a nice precocious type.
“She is in now and I have an expression – coping it on the chin and that is exactly what she is doing.
“Everything I ask of her she is doing with ease, so I can’t see why not.”
Waterhouse has had plenty of success with the progeny of Exceed And
Excel and she won the 2013 Golden Slipper with Exceed And Excel filly
Overreach.
The leading trainer believes that there are plenty of similarities
between Overreach and Delirium and she also compared the two-year-old to
Group 1 winner Driefontein, who won the 2012 Magic Millions Classic as a
two-year-old and went on to win the Robert Sangster Classic in Adelaide
as a four-year-old.
“He gets a very precocious speedy horses, who also can rise to being Group 1 horses,” Waterhouse said of Exceed And Excel.
“He has the ability of getting precocious horses that have a touch of class about them.
“She is quite similar to a filly like Driefontein.
“I don’t know if she is going to measure up quite as well as Driefontein, but she has a toughness about her.”
Dynamic Syndications is another operation that is no stranger to winning
major two-year-old races right around Australia and they started a new
relationship with Waterhouse at the end of last year.
Waterhouse and Dynamic Syndications already have a number of very
promising horses together and she was brimming in praise for the
operation that is run by the father and son team of Dean and Adam Watt.
“They are very professional and they let me get on with the job of being a horse trainer,” Waterhouse said
“They very much look after the people – their clients – they sell them
the horse and all the owners all know exactly what they are in for.
“They have very good documentation, so that if anybody reneges on
payment or anything like that there is going to be no strife or grief
for the other owners.
“They run a very tight ship both Dean and Adam and they do a really, really good job.”
It is incredibly easy to give yourself the opportunity to own a share of
