Less than a week after siring his
first Australian runner Of The Brave to be a Stakes-Winner last Saturday at Caulfield,
Starspangledbanner was back at doing what he does best – producing winners, as his
Northern Hemisphere record keeps improving when adding another impressive winner to his tally at Wolverhampton overnight.
Starspangledbanner’s 2yo filly
Silver Rainbow bolted in to win by six lengths at just her second start over seven furlongs (1400m).
Silver Rainbow became the eighth first crop winner in the Northern Hemisphere for globe-trotting Aussie sprint star Starspangledbanner, including a Gr1 Winner in THE WOW SIGNAL and a Gr2 Winner in ANTHEM ALEXANDER.
Starspangledbanner will return to
Coolmore Ireland in 2015 after covering a select book of
50 mares this season at Rosemont Stud in Victoria.
DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS have already syndicated a special filly by the superstar sire earlier this year with
PETER & PAUL SNOWDEN.
Our filly has the name
PICKERSGILL – after
Mary PICKERSGILL, the lady who created and sewed the original
STARSPANGLEDBANNER flag.
She has shown us plenty of ability to date and is back in pre-training after a short let-up and is awaiting a trip back to Randwick.
