The full sister to Dynamic Syndications magnificently bred Exceed and Excel - Shoot the Stars colt, Buratti, destroyed its rivals on Friday winning at Geelong by 7 lengths.
Buratti, who was ridden by Craig Robertson, made every post a winner jumping straight to the front from barrier 1 and never looking challenged.
Previous to this outing, Buratti had placed twice in four outings but was determined not to be a bridesmaid this time out and went on to win her maiden, eased up, by an incredible 7 lengths.
Burratti, who relished the step up to 1200 metres, was able to stack the field up and get some cheap sectionals in the middle portion of the race. She was then able to produce an impressive turn of foot coming round the home turn to gap her rivals and stride away in emphatic style.
The David Hayes camp, who train Buratti, were the underbidders when Dynamic successfully bought our own Exceed and Excel - Shoot the Stars colt for $140,000 in March this year and obviously have a big opinion of her.
When Dynamic Syndications purchased this athletic individual at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sales, Shoot the Stars had only 1 foal to race who was previously a winner.
After Buratti's impressive performance on Friday, she now becomes the second winner the dam has produced coupled with the fact that the other half brother, Destiny Express, has won again and is now a winner on 5 separate occasions.
When Exceed and Excel has been mated to mares from the Sadler's Wells line, like is the case in our colt, it has been highly successful and to date has produced 7 Stakes Winners.
We are hopeful that number eight is just around the corner and comes through this strong and powerful colt who will be given every chance to shine in the Melbourne stables of Peter Moody.
Our outstanding individual has received plenty of interest since it was sold to Dynamic earlier this year with 25% already being sold and more enquires coming in on a daily basis.
