Dynamic Syndications trainer, Chris Waller, has for the second season in a row broken through the magical 100 winner’s barrier after saluting with Tromso on Saturday afternoon at Rosehill.
Chris now sits well atop of the premiership with 100.5 wins for the season after last year he claimed his first Sydney based training premiership when preparing 117 total winners.
This year Chris has bettered his performance reaching the milestone almost a month earlier than he did last year on the back of Velrosso winning on June 25 2011.
Chris has improved his total winner’s mark every year since arriving in Sydney from New Zealand in 2000 and is again expected to improve on last year’s tally.
''It would be disappointing if we didn't [set a new mark]. We are always pretty strong at the end of the season," Waller said.
"We haven't had a backward year since I arrived in Sydney in 2000 so that's the benchmark.”
Waller became just the fifth trainer to prepare 100 Sydney winners in a season when he did it last year on his way to his first premiership and was thrilled to back it up.
Chris is very appreciative to all those that have stuck with him and supported him since he arrived in Australia and gave out many thanks to those people including Dynamic Syndications.
"It's a good (milestone) to achieve," he said.
"It's not one day, one month or one carnival. It's every day and it's a massive team effort. I'm proud to be the one on top and it's a big achievement."
We currently are racing a number of horses with Chris at his Rosehill stable and also have 4 yearlings on our books that are also due to go there.
We congratulate Chris on another brilliant season and we look forward to more racetrack success with him in the future.
