Liberator, the Full Brother to Dynamic Syndications recent purchase at the Easter Inglis Yearling Sales, has saluted in emphatic style last night in Hong Kong.
The Encosta De Lago - Miss Helga gelding put on a super display coupled with a perfect ride by Australian and Dynamic Syndication top jockey, Tim Clark.
Clark's superb ride in the feature event of the evening paired nicely with Liberator's own racing ability. Clark got his mount to settle just outside the lead before working over to the rails in a perfect position.
Sitting 3rd for much of the race, he never looked under pressure and was able to ease out at the 500 metre mark going straight past the pacemaker, Super Pistachio.
From that stage, the horse was never challenged. Clark extended his lead in the straight and punched him out to win impressively.
So dominant was the run that he was able to ease on the horse in the final 100 metres and go on to win by a widening 1 1/4 lengths beating home Carthage and Osvaldo.
LIBERATOR wins his 4 race with ease in Hong Kong on Wednesday evening
With this immediate family going from strength to strength, the result is great news for our own Encosta De Lago - Miss Helga filly whose trainer was announced yesterday.
She is in the care of Sydney's Number 1 horseman CHRIS WALLER.
Liberator will now be prepped for the Group Three Queen Mother Memorial Cup on May the 6th after being extremely unlucky in the Group 1 Hong Kong Derby three starts ago.
There is a big opinion of Liberator forming in local circles with many experts believing that his first black type win is just around the corner.
His trainer, South African born David Ferraris, believes it is only a matter of time before this talented horse breaks his duck in Stakes races.
"He will stay all day and is a nice horse for the Queen Mother Memorial Cup, where he should get in with a light weight. He'll be hard to beat with 113-pounds on his back and has always been a good horse."
With Sydney's Premier Trainer CHRIS WALLER in charge, of our filly we will be syndicated at $21,500 for 10% or $10,750 for 5%.
Stay tuned to the Dynamic website as we report about both Liberator in Hong Kong and our own Encosta De Lago - Miss Helga Filly in the near future.
