Our Lonhro Filly's 1/2 Brother Continues to Play with Rivals

Political Playboy, the half-brother to our superbly bred Lonhro/Fine Society Filly, has against blitzed his rivals winning by 4 lengths in South Africa last week.

This ever improving Dehere colt which raced at the Scottsville track for the first time, produced the best display of his short career winning first up over 1600 metres.

The Glen Kotzen trained colt, was eased up over the final 100 metres and there are big plans for this emerging superstar.

After a win at its previous start by 2 3/4 lengths, this horse is continuing to improve and getting better with every run.

Well known South African bloodstock agent and co-owner of the colt, Andy Williams, is extremely excited about the horses future and told us that he would be "definitely going to black type races in the near future."

Talking to us at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sales, he continued on to say that "he is one of South Africa's most exciting racing prospects and has an extremely bright future."

The current plan for this athletic colt is to prepare him for some of South Africa's best middle distance and staying races including the South African Derby at Turffontein later in the year.

What makes the achievements of this horse even more impressive is that he only can see from one eye!

South Africa is the only nation in the racing world that allows horses who are blind in one eye to compete however this colt is overcoming this disability to win and do it in impressive fashion.

He is quickly becoming a superstar of South African racing and is firming in the market for many of the Rainbow Nation's biggest races.
