Dynamic Syndications will be looking to create "Just a Splash" with the filly by the same name when she runs over 1100 metres at Gosford on Sunday.
Hampered by a number of problems in her first three starts, Just a Splash is yet to finish in the money however she appears to have turned the corner this current preparation.
The Daughter of More Than Ready ex Gould (mare was named after Olmpic swimmer Shane Gould) was also nominated for Scone on Friday and Kembla on Saturday but weather permitting, it was decided her best chance was at Gosford.
Gerald Ryan now trains the Filly and reports that she is constantly improving and has shown enough in her work at home and in barrier trials to suggest she could potentially be a nice horse.
Just A Splash
Ultimately she will be looking to step up in distance towards 1400 metres over this preparation and hopefully string a few wins together.
She will be ridden on Sunday by leading Sydney based jockey, Nash Rawiller who should be able to get the most out of the horse first up.
With the torrential rain that has hit all parts of the greater Sydney area over the past days, we are hoping the topically named, Just A Splash can beat home its 6 other rivals.
In a small but tricky maiden like this, it is anticipated she can run well and finish in the mix despite being untried on a heavy track.
Dynamic Syndications and Gerald Ryan are both hopeful that we can see the best out of this horse who has promised a lot off the track but has not had things go her way in races at this stage of her career.
Further reports on Just a Splash will be posted throughout this coming preparation.
