Our filly was the first foal of a three-quarter-sister to Gr3 placed MISS WONDERLAND; a half-sister to Gr2 Winning, and twice Gr1 placed GLENFIDDICH, and closely related to ELEVEN ELEVEN. Our 3yo gelding DADDY FRANK (by FRANKEL (GB) from EVENING ROSE) took his career record to: 4 Starts = 1:1:1 and Prizemoney: $33,300 when at his first time out to 2100m he was courageous to claim victory at Echuca. DADDY FRANK won the Hygain Advanced Nutrition Maiden over 2103m on a Good 4, The victory continues the amazing season CIARON MAHER and DAVID EUSTACE and all the Team at CIARON MAHER RACING are enjoying. It is a FACT that CIARON MAHER RACING are currently Australia’s Leading Stable. They are 36.5 Wins ahead of Chris Waller Racing.

A month ago, Dundeel’s 2YO son Militarize completed a superb Group 1 Sires’ Produce-Champagne Stakes double. Last Saturday Dundeel’s 3YO son DUNKEL won the Group 1 $500,000 South Australian Derby 2500m, becoming the outstanding young sire’s 7th Group 1 winner amongst Dundeel’s 24 Stakes Winners to date. DUNDEEL, the champion son of High Chaparral has consolidated his place among Australia’s Top 10 sires, and after a $450,000 weekend, he holds 7th spot on the General Premiership with $11.3m earnings inc 7 Stakes Winners of 16 Stakes Races so far this season.

Late last week and again over the past three days, Adam Watt from Dynamic was out at Gooree Park Mudgee to see several of our Yearling Class of 2023 in different stages of development. In our planned programmes developed for each individual horse, some were in training, others were in early education pre-training, whilst others were enjoying a spell in their paddocks.

We purchased two (2) yearlings, a colt, and a filly by TOO DARN HOT this year and on what they have shown us to date we are delighted to have backed the debutant sire.

It was announced last week by Coolmore Stud that JUSTIFY will return to Australia for the 2023 season and today it was confirmed he will stand for $77,000 including GST in the Hunter Valley this season. Justify stood his first season in 2019 at Coolmore at a fee listed as Private ($77,000), his 2020 second season at $66,000 and his 2021 third season at $55,000. He didn’t travel here last season and jumps back up to $77,000 for 2023. Thoughts quickly changed about JUSTIFY returning when the sire proved himself as the Best First Crop Sire in Australia this season.
