DUNDEEL is a Young but Already Proven Sire, with 5 Individual Group 1 Winners on his resume. As a result of his success, DUNDEEL had a big service fee increase in 2019, jumping 140% from $27,500, up to $66,000 due to the impressive racetrack results of his progeny headed by Castelvecchio. Covering 209 mares in 2019, that was up 62 from the 2018 season, and it’s his biggest book to date. His 2020 crop of mares were similar in numbers to 2019. In 2020 DUNDEEL covered 196 mares, and these are his current crop of Yearlings.

A treble of metropolitan winners on Wednesday has seen Arrowfield Stud’s champion sire SNITZEL become the 4th sire to join the century club with 100 Australian winners for the season. SNITZEL with 100 winners from 242 runners (41.3%) including 11 Stakes Winners, joins I AM INVINCIBLE (132/299 = 44.1%); WRITTEN TYCOON (112/292 = 38.4%); ZOUSTAR (106/303 = 35%). INGLIS CLASSIC Day 1 Report

On a day of trade that saw confidence in most facets of the market, it was the Written Tycoon x Sylvia’s Mother colt that topped proceedings, selling to Tony Fung Investments and Inglis Millennium-winning trainer Annabel Neasham for $550,000. The second-top lot was an Extreme Choice x Top Billing colt offered by Kingstar Farm, which sold to for $480,000. The colt will head to Melbourne and be trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr. At the conclusion of Day 1, the sale average sits at $115,767 with a clearance rate of 81% and gross of $23,616,500.
