It was a good day in the office and a special day on the racetrack for Team Dynamic on Monday 7 October when our Ownership Teams sent 5 horses to the sport for 3 wins plus a pimple second and an unlucky sixth, across three venues. Then on Tuesday afternoon we sent one down the highway to Goulburn and got the win taking our Overall win tally to
904 Racetrack Wins and 14 Wins
for the new racing season.
Monday kicked off in sensational style in Queensland when our
Chris and Corey Munce trained
JOHNNY DASH
went to Ipswich to compete in the Great Northern Bm65 Hcp over 1666m and the $2.45 favourite carried 61.0kgs to an easy victory with Justin Huxtable in the saddle, defeating second favourite Wanda’s Outlaw (55.0kgs) ($2.90) by 1.25 lengths with Eastown (57.0kgs) ($7.0) 2.03 lengths third.
JOHNNY DASH
Next was at Warwick Farm where
NAVAL COMMISSION
resumed from a spell in Race 5 over 1400m in the City Tattersalls Group Hcp Bm72. Our
Ciaron Maher trained galloper was ridden by Adam Hyeronimus
and the result was both agony and ecstasy as our $21 hope waited on a developed print to identify who won but alas, despite storming home, we were a nostril tip away, as the runner-up carrying 62.0kgs spotting the winner 1.5kgs. A fantastic result considering our horse is a 2000m plus horse and to resume so strongly we are upbeat for the preparation ahead. He banked the $12,200 runner-up cheque and this took our 5yo geldings overall record to 14: 5-3-3 and $166,625.
NAVAL COMMISSION
Our third runner was
HARD TO SAY
who lined up in the feature race of the day, the $150,000, Kia Ora Prague Handicap Bm 100, over 1000m.
Trained by Jason Deamer at Newcastle, HARD TO SAY
was resuming from a spell, and asked to carry 60.0kgs under
Nash Rawiller.
The Dynamic Duo put in an eye-catcher to claim victory for his All-Ladies Ownership Team and banked another $76,250 first prize.
HARD TO SAY
($4.60) defeated I Am Unstoppable ($60.0kgs) ($2.30) by 0.36 lengths with Renosu (56.5kgs) ($6.50) 2.28 lengths third. This took our 5yo geldings overall record to 23: 8-2-2 and $733,250.

HARD TO SAY
Next was our fourth runner, as we were off to the races at Muswellbrook where just 10 minutes after winning at Warwick Farm, Team Dynamic and
trainer Jason Deamer
were back in the winner’s circle, this time with our
4yo mare
ALTERCATION.
Ridden by
Blake Spriggs
, Altercation was having her third race start for the preparation having won first-up before a good effort when 4th second-up. Here she contested Race 6 the Pursehouse Rural Class 1 Hcp over 1000m carrying 55.0kgs at $4.40 and sitting off the speed she finished strongly to win by 1.09 lengths over Willingale (57.0kgs) ($8.0) with Beyond My Ken (56.0kgs) ($3.0) 1.45 lengths in third in a slick time of 56.95. Her record now reads 4: 2 wins, twice fourth and $25,700.
Then our fifth and final runner of the day was in the next race at Muswellbrook where our
Jason Deamer trained Awesome Tycoon
was resuming from a spell. He carried 58.0kgs over 1280m and finished 6th 2.47 lengths from the leader. This was a very pleasing effort despite the official finishing position. In the big field of 14 runners, he got shuffled back to last on a leader bias surface and then was pushed out to be the widest runner in the straight. As he was flying home, he took fright at the 200m marker when there was damage and a clover patch the grass surface and tried to jump that part of the track like a hurdler. Blake displayed terrific horsemanship to stay in the saddle. On this effort
Awesome Tycoon
is set for a big preparation. His record is now 7: 2-0-2 and $31,825.
