AHSO - Dynamic Buys Promising Sydney Winning 3YO from Sir Owen Glenn
AHSO - a 3yo gelding by SEBRING x QUENCH THE THIRST has been purchased by Dynamic Syndications to continue his racing career in our colours for a new ownership team.
The lightly raced 3yo has only had 3 race starts - all this preparation, and has performed well including
* A dominant debut win at Warwick Farm over 1200m on the 6th January 21,
* Stepping straight up to 1600m again at Warwick Farm and asked to carry 61.kgs on 26 January he finished 2.9 lengths from the winner in 6th position.
* Then two weeks later he was straight up to 1800m with 59.5kgs and finished a gallant 2.4 lengths 4th.
Ridden by Nash Rawiller at his past two runs, Nash gave us a good insight into the horse’s ability levels and future racing goals and recommended him to us.
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott were very keen to see AHSO find his way back into their stables, as they believe he has the ability to win several metro races next preparation.
Offered for sale by Go Bloodstock’s Sir Owen Glenn who also races horses with Dynamic Syndications, AHSO didn’t fit into his racing business structure now that AHSO has become a gelding.
Sir Owen wishes to only race those horses which meet his criteria of racing prominent colts or high-class fillies.
AHSO after his Win
Dynamic Syndications arranged for our vet from Centennial Park Veterinary Practice to attend the horse at the agistment property to undertake a thorough veterinary examination including an endoscopic evaluation which the horse passed without any issues.
AHSO - the day before we purchased him.
In summation, we knew he was a big, strong, sound racehorse with obvious city class that was lightly raced.
The fact he has WON at 1200m at Warwick Farm is a Bonus as we are of the opinion, he is a middle-distance horse.
So do GAI & ADRIAN because AHSO was holding nominations for the ROSEHILL GUINEAS 2000m and ATC DERBY 2400m.
Gai & Adrian at Randwick
Importantly, our trainers GAI & ADRIAN spoke to us declaring they "wanted the horse to be returned to them to continue his training."
Then our vet gave us the “green light” to proceed buying him
Also, our “go too” jockey had told us to "buy him."
Sir OWEN GLENN - Go Bloodstock with jockey Michael Walker
Finally, the vendor Sir Owen Glenn had a genuine reason behind selling him.
AHSO is currently mid-way through a 6-week spell and will return to training shortly.
The planets aligned when Dynamic Syndications paid $65,000 + GST ($71,500) to buy him through the Inglis Online Racehorse Sale.
We believed he should sell for significantly more than that, so we were delighted when our bid at $65,000 wasn’t countered.
Offered as lot 27 AHSO will now continue his race career in our
Dynamic Syndications Silks.
3YO AHSO is NOW being offered to our clients.
80% was SOLD before being offered to the market 3/3/21
Don’t delay buying your share.
