24 September 2025 – Bimbadeen Park, NSW
Dynamic Syndications is thrilled to share exciting, updated photos of our highly promising 2YO colt by Admire Mars out of the Banksia – a beautifully related, sizzling quick daughter of champion Redoute’s Choice. Yesterday, our team had the pleasure of visiting the colt at Bimbadeen Park, where he has been spelling under the expert care of Shane Rose.
Having completed his spell, the colt is showing remarkable growth, maturity, and athletic development. His time at the farm has allowed him to build strength and develop the composure that marks a future star on the track.
We captured these updated images showcasing just how the colt is progressing. From his strong frame to his alert and intelligent demeanour, it’s clear he is a magnificent individual, and we are excited about what lies ahead.

“This colt has come through his spell exceptionally well,” said the team at Dynamic Syndications.
“He’s physically strong, mentally mature, and ready to return to training. We are incredibly enthusiastic about his potential, as he prepares to embark on his racing journey with Australia’s Number 1 stable - Ciaron Maher Racing.”

We share the new photos with our followers giving everyone a glimpse of a colt who is shaping up beautifully and has all the tools to become a top-class performer.
After all, he is the son of Admire Mars a champion 2yo and champion 3yo in Japan. He was unbeaten in 4 starts at two, a Triple Group 1-winning miler, and the only 3YO winner of the Hong Kong International Mile Gr1.
Whilst his Dam Banksia – won twice at 1000m including a win in 56.36.
Banksia is proving a sensation as a Broodmare and when she is producing progeny that look like this, its easy to accept why she is dominant.
Banksia has had 3 foals, all raced = 3 Winners including 2 Stakes Winners BANK MAUR and NAMESAKE.
So our colt is a Half-Brother to both these Stakes Winners.

BANK MAUR 2019 c. by Maurice (JPN). 4 wins-1 at 2-from 1200m to 2050m, A$893,525, MVRC Alister Clark S., Gr.2, MRC Stow Storage Solutions H., 2d MRC Manfred S., Gr.3, DCE H., 50 Year Life Member Brian Reed H., 3d MVRC Abell S., L, MRC Selangor Turf Club H., Sportsbet H., 4th VRC Australian Guineas, Gr.1, MRC Sandown S., Gr.3, Bel Esprit S., L.

Noting that NAMESAKE is trained by Ciaron Maher.
Whilst this is an impressive fact to be the half-brother to these high-quality stakes winners, there is far more to this pedigree.

TECHNICAL ASPECTS: "The Recipe"
As ADMIRE MARS is a Young Sire with his Australian progeny only just turned 3yo’s therefore his progeny hasn’t had the opportunities on the track yet.
Therefore, when analysing data, we look at the Sire of Admire Mars who is Champion Sire DAIWA MAJOR. As he is a Japanese based sire, he hasn’t had many opportunities outside of Japan and those that have raced outside of Japan have been based in Europe and the USA.
Japan hasn’t had a lot of exposure to Danehill blood however when he has been mated with the Danzig / Danehill line mares he has achieved tremendous results.
Fortunately, DAIWA MAJOR is a SON of the prepotent Sire SUNDAY SILENCE who was a stallion of elite influence around the World and in particular his influence in Australia has been significant.
SUNDAY SILENCE has been exceptionally successful with DANEHILL producing 20 Stakes Winners in the exact cross whilst a further 47 Stakes Winners have been produced by either SONS or GRANDSONS of SUNDAY SILENCE over DANEHILL or DANEHILL’S SONS and GRANDSONS being the sire of the broodmare.
Therefore, from a genetics position, SONS and GRANDSONS of SUNDAY SILENCE have been a A+++ Success with the DANEHILL Line.
In following that data, it would be expected that ADMIRE MARS as a SON of a Champion Sire DAIWA MAJOR who has from limited opportunities, sired 6 SW with three (3) being Gr1 Winners and ADMIRE MARS being a GRANDSON of SUNDAY SILENCE will be a cross that will work at a higher propensity to produce Stakes Winners than when compared with every other sireline in the thoroughbred world.
This was obviously in the minds of the Team at ARROWFIELD when they selected ADMIRE MARS to complement their many DANEHILL line mares they own.
As ADMIRE MARS has no DANEHILL line blood in his pedigree, he can cover all DANEHILL line mares. This is referred to as an Outcross and is desirable to strengthen the gene pools.
Whilst we have covered off on why ADMIRE MARS will work in Australia and why he will work well with the DANEHILL Line we then drill down into his champion Sire and Broodmare Sire SON - REDOUTE’S CHOICE.
BANKSIA is a daughter of REDOUTE’S CHOICE from a deep black-type family. She is actually a three-quarter sister to Gr1 Winner FOXWEDGE; Listed Winner SHE’S A FOX; and Gr2 placed PAULOWINA. Each of these 3 stakes’ horses are by FASTNET ROCK who is a SON of DANEHILL just as is REDOUTE’S CHOICE.
It’s no surprise that this mare has been an instant success as a Broodmare when mated with another Japanese sire in MAURICE who is also free of Danehill Blood.
The first two foals from the mare were by MAURICE and produced Gr2 Winner and Gr1 performer BANK MAUR along with Listed Winner and Gr2 placed NAMESAKE who is trained by CIARON MAHER.
Whilst the third foal from the mare by Written Tycoon is BANK BOOK who is a winner at 1000m and looks on form to be city class who will get out a bit further in ground.
BANKSIA appears to be heading in the right direction to become one of those “Blue Hen” mares. Rare in their ability to be able to uplift progeny of leading sires. The Blue Hen is a mare who has proved herself exceptional in producing high quality foals, regardless of which stallion might be the sire.
This is the ultimate reason we targeted the ADMIRE MARS x BANKSIA Colt.
* The Sire was a Champion 2YO & Co-Champion 3YO
* The Sire is a SON of a CHAMPION SIRE and the GRANDSON of a world Class CHAMPION SIRE
* The Sireline matched well with DANEHILL Line blood.
* The DAM is a daughter of Champion Sire REDOUTE’S CHOICE – a SON of DANEHILL
* The DAM is a three-quarter Sister to Gr1 winner and Successful Sire FOXWEDGE
* The DAM is a three-quarter Sister to SW SHE’S A FOX and SP PAULOWINA
* COLTS only bred where SUNDAY SILENCE is the 3rd Generation on the Sireline and DANEHILL is 3rd Generation Broodmare Sireline = 179 Winners (62.6%) 20 Stakes Horses; 11 SW and 9 SP.
* COLTS only bred where SUNDAY SILENCE is the 3rd Generation on the Sireline and REDOUTE’S CHOICE is 2nd Generation Broodmare Sireline = 22 Winners (64.7%) 6 Stakes Horses; 3 SW and 3 SP.
There has not been a runner by DAIWA MAJOR from a REDOUTE’S CHOICE Mare to date.
Where DAIWA MAJOR as the 2nd Generation on the Sireline and DANEHILL as the 3rd Generation on the Broodmare Sireline there has only been 5 replications to date for 2 winners.
Statistical Data reveals the Cross WORKS!
