My Yankee Girl looks to have been very well bought and looms as a great investment being the second foal and second winner from Group 3 winning Street Cry mare Pittsburgh Flyer.
My Yankee Girl was bred by
Go Bloodstock as they purchased her dam Pittsburgh Flyer for $500,000 at the 2108 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale when she was in foal to
American Pharoah.
She has a yearling filly to follow by
Merchant Navy.
My Yankee Girl’s sire American Pharoah is the sire of
Head of State (3c American Pharoah x Derelique, by Danehill Dancer), a winner of the
Group 3 ATC Gloaming Stakes.
American Pharoah has already sired
Group 1 winners in North America, Japan and France.
