A high majority of racehorse owners buy a share in their chosen horse based upon many reasons.
Significantly it’s based upon
emotions or to a lesser extent, a best endeavour educated guess.
Some may believe they are making an
investment decision but in reality, they are living in hope that their choice will go on to become a high-quality racehorse, capable of delivering huge prizemoney.

Racing is a Sport, Leisure and Entertainment industry but its capable of delivering for owners an opportunity to
"change their address" on the deeds of their steed.
A Dynamic Syndications Ownership Team
Many owners buy into colts to
“live a dream” of striking it rich on the track and then their colt goes to stud.
This does happen to a handful of colts (maybe a half-dozen) each year. However, the odds are akin to winning lotto.
So, purchasing into a Colt should be seen more as a
lifestyle choice.
Therefore, a question must be asked,
can you make an investment in a racehorse where the downside is truly minimal, but the upside could be greater than you can imagine?
The true answer is
Yes, but not often.
You need to take the
right advice from the
right industry professionals however even that is not often a recipe for success.
But every once in a while, the planets align, and opportunity presents itself.
This review below is about one of these rare opportunities.
In 2020 at the
Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, our Team at Dynamic Syndications purchased
3 superb yearlings.
There were 2 Fillies and 1 Colt.

DEEP FIELD x ZARINIA (IRE) Brown Yearling Filly
It’s our business knowledge and strength which ensures we buy top quality, sound, athletic and beautifully bred yearlings, and once purchased, we allocate these horses amongst our leading team of trainers.
Our Filly by
DEEP FIELD is a filly that we are very excited about.
She appears the Real Deal. She is one of those elusive gems that can offer her Owners the opportunity of an
INVESTMENT rather than a purchase.
Why?
Fact: They simply cannot come along any better bred than this filly.
Then she has magnificent conformation and she was clean on x-ray and scope.
Our DEEP FIELD x ZARINIA (IRE) Brown Filly
Next our due diligence work in selecting and purchasing her appears to have been a first class decision, as she has broken-in and already proceeded through early education extremely well.
Our Filly under saddle being ridden by SHANE ROSE
Therefore, this filly has the conformation, athleticism and most importantly it appears that she has inherited ability from both her sensational sire and her magnificent mum.
Furthermore, she
impressed her breeder enough as a foal all the way through to the yearling sales that they purchased a leg (
25%) straight back into her when she was knocked down to Dynamic Syndications.
Bred by the famous
KIA ORA Stud in the Hunter Valley, one of
Australia’s leading boutique thoroughbred nurseries, so when they want to buy a
quarter back, that’s an outstanding endorsement.
CIARON MAHER & DAVID EUSTACE
That was quickly followed by
Victoria’s Leading Training Stable of CIARON MAHER and DAVID EUSTACE coming over to
Team Dynamic immediately after we finished signing for the filly and Ciaron asked if he could train her for us. Ciaron and David are an integral part of the Dynamic Syndications Team and we were delighted to place her into their care.
So why did we pay $160,000 + GST ($176,000) to buy this filly?
Firstly we were blessed in the fact that she went through the salering as
Lot 6 because there is always opportunities to be had in the first hour of any sale as the market spars with each other, trying to determine the early trends of demand verse supply.
Also, to a price, we always want to buy the ones we want, never the ones we are left with.
So, we made this filly a target purchase.

What’s so special about her?
It’s the pedigree she possesses on her female side that makes her so commercial.
Thoroughbreds can’t be bred any better than this filly which ensures she will have
excellent residual value.
Her Dam
ZARINIA (IRE) was unraced but she has proven to be a
sensation as a broodmare.

It’s in the Genes !
When the breeder chose
DEEP FIELD to cover ZARINIA (IRE) which created our filly, it was done with purpose.
DEEP FIELD is a son of
NORTHERN METEOR who is a son of
ENCOSTA DE LAGO who is a son of
FAIRY KING.
ZARINIA (IRE) is a daughter of
INTIKHAB who is a son of
RED RANSOM, who is a son of
ROBERTO who is a son of
HAIL TO REASON.
This produces an
A+ 1,063% Geographical Nick, an
A+ 884% Enick Rating score and an
A 2.91 True Nicks rating score.
The NORTHERN METEOR over RED RANSOM genetic breeding pattern is rated SUPERB and has proven to be highly successful at producing high-class Stakes Winning racehorses.
Most Importantly its Proving to be a Sensational cross for
FILLIES:
There have been
37 fillies bred on this cross to race, producing
23 Winners (
62%) including
4 Stakes Winners and 2 Stakes Placed =
26% Black-Type Horses to Winners (1 in 4 Winners earns Black Type).
In summation:
We have a well conformed, athletic filly with a perfect pedigree both genetically and commercially.
She does not have any Danehill genetics in her pedigree line so she will be an
in-demand broodmare when her racing days conclude.
We know that she has broken-in superbly and if she could emulate the deeds of four of her siblings and earn black-type by winning or being placed in the right stakes race, she could improve her commercial value as a broodmare tenfold.
See our filly under saddle after finishing her education phase with SHANE ROSE:

So, our owners will be well satisfied in the knowledge
she has the pedigree and type to be a success and now the way
Australian Equestrian Team Olympian SHANE ROSE speaks of her,
Our Filly with SHANE ROSE and ADAM WATT
Shane is convinced she has the motor to match the pedigree page.

Then add-in the fact
the leading stable in Victoria wanted to train her from the very moment we purchased her, and the
breeder has purchased into her for 25% is another ringing endorsement.
Minimal downside, massive upside, pedigree and now displayed ability plus her Owners will enjoy the opportunity to see their filly race offering them Fun, Glamour and Excitement of racehorse ownership.
Not to forget the opportunity to win some of the massive prizemoney on offer.
To achieve this, she will be polished into her best she can be by the best trainer in Victoria who also has stables in Sydney.
