Ciaron Maher's Seven Winners in Four-State Haul on 31 August adds to their Massive August Tally

It was special Saturday for the Ciaron Maher Racing Team, as the country’s leading training stable for winners over the previous two seasons have raced to the front to start the 2024/25 season.

It proved a rare afternoon when Ciaron Maher trained winners across all Eastern State capital cities, as well as South Australia.

Ciaron Maher and his Team trained four (4) winners at Caulfield, and also prepared winners at Rosehill, Doomben and Morphettville.

IT'S A KNOCKOUT

We are only one month into the new racing season and the juggernaut which is the Ciaron Maher Racing Team has already established a decisive lead with 40 winners throughout August.

Whilst the Lindsay Park team is in second place with 34 winners and Chris Waller is third on 27 wins.

Maher’s Saturday metropolitan winners were:

Caulfield: Convenor $31, Recommendation $1.95, Growing Empire $2.50 & Another Wil $3.30.

Rosehill: It’s A Knockout $7

Doomben: Odinson $3.90

Morphettville: Morryl Moral $3

The CMR Team hit the ground running with our own IT’S A KNOCKOUT, taking out the second event at Rosehill under an excellent front-running ride courtesy of Tim Clark.

Doomben then took centre stage, with ODINSON scraping paint and putting them to the sword, with black-type now beckoning.

Further interstate success ensued, with MORRYL MORAL being the benefactor of some nifty placement, grabbing the chocolates at Morphettville.

Whilst it was hard to top their day at the Heath, which saw CONVENER cause a boilover early on the card, RECOMMENDATION adding another G3 to his flourishing resume, GROWING EMPIRE’s classy win in the G3 McNeil Stakes and ANOTHER WIL’s breathtaking victory in the lucky last.

The CMR Team’s attention now turns to forthcoming targets and the pending returns of I AM ME, BELLA NIPOTINA and ESTRIELLA.

Whilst for the calendar year, the Ciaron Maher Team have trained Dynamic Syndications Owners 11 city winners to date in 8 months.

I AM ME

Now our Dynamic Syndications Team’s attention turns to this Saturday, with the return of our mighty mare I AM ME to the sport, as she kicks-off her Spring campaign in the Concord Stakes over 1000m at Randwick.

Her end goals are a possible start in The Everest or if not, on the same day to defend her title in the $2m Sydney Stakes.

Alternatively, another possible target is the $2m The Invitation. To get there, the logical lead-up assignments are Concorde, The Shorts and the Premier.

However, every decision upon placement is fluid and depend upon our mare’s performances as she progresses through the spring.
