Dynamic Syndications and CIARON MAHER RACING (Ciaron Maher and co-trainer David Eustace) have formed a strategic alliance to ensure ongoing success for both parties.

CIARON MAHER

During 2018, when CIARON MAHER announced that he would be moving up to Sydney to open stables giving his team access to the Huge Prizemoney on offer in NSW. After discussions we agreed to join forces with CIARON MAHER RACING and offer various syndication opportunities around this highly successful young trainer.

Ciaron’s co-trainer David Eustace will keep their stable firing at Caulfield whilst Ciaron establishes his presence in Sydney. Originally settling into Rosehill, box space was limited restricting the stables growth and when an opportunity opened up in early January at Warwick Farm, Ciaron seized them and now has a genuine foothold into Sydney Racing.

To celebrate the establishment of our new working relationship, we wanted to ensure we had outstanding horses to offer into the market.

Dynamic Syndications proudly purchased two magnificent yearlings at the Magic Millions for the CIARON MAHER RACING stable.

.1) Lot 230 - EXCEED AND EXCEL x TIMBOURINA Chestnut Colt

.2) Lot 828 - ZOUSTAR x MOONFLUTE Bay Filly

Both yearlings are by Champion Sires out of Brilliant Stakes Winning / Gr1 Placed mares.

EXCEED AND EXCEL needs no introduction – He is the world’s Number 1 source of 2yo Stakes Winners and has over 150 stakes winners on his resume. He has sired 11 Gr1 Winners including our own Blue Diamond Winner REWARD FOR EFFORT.

TIMBOURINA won the VRC Wakeful S., Gr2, was 2nd in the STC Canterbury Guineas Gr1, VRC Let’s Elope S, Gr3, Illawarra TC Keith Nolan Classic LR, 3rd VRC Oaks Gr1, AJC Kindergarten S., Gr3.

ZOUSTAR is the Hottest Young Sire in Australia. He was Champion First Season Sire last season and is a clear leader in the Second Crop Sires List. He already has 41 individual winners including 10 stakes horses (7 Stakes Winners and 3 Stakes Placed) containing the brilliant Gr1 winning filly SUNLIGHT.

MOONFLUTE was a Gr3 Winner of the Furious S, at Randwick and was 2nd in the ATC Flight Stakes Gr1, STC Sweet Embrace S., Gr3 and 3rd in the AJC Hobartville S, Gr2, Adrian Knox S, Gr3.

We are heading into the market with our first CIARON MAHER promotion and we have chosen to release the sensational ZOUSTAR x MOONFLUTE Filly.

You’ll be racing this filly with the big boys as Gerry Harvey straight away put his hand up and claimed 25% of this fantastic filly.

Bred to be good, this filly offers excellent racing opportunity and with such a magnificent pedigree supporting her, she will be assured terrific residual value upon retirement. Should she be as we anticipate, up to Black-Type grade, then she could be worth a lot of money at the end of her racing days.

Apart from the fact MOONFLUTE herself was a $1 million Mare, the fact she is by Danehill is significant. At this point of his early career, ZOUSTAR is setting record after record as a sire and of his 10 Black-Type horses – there is no co-incidence that six (60%) are from Danehill line mares.

ZOUSTAR is proving a super sire of 2yo’s whilst MOONFLUTE herself was an excellent 2yo and was 2nd in the Sweet Embrace – the fillies lead-up race to the Golden Slipper ,along with another 2nd placing in a race in Sydney as a 2yo.

An early foaling date of 26 August is an added bonus to a well grown, athletic filly that is in the care of a trainer proven capable of getting the best out of 2yo’s in his care. Whatever this filly does as a 2yo, she will be better again at 3.

Nomination fees are already paid for the Magic Millions Race Series, Golden Slipper, Golden Rose, Blue Diamond, Blue Sapphire and BOBS.

This is a filly of the highest quality by a Boom Sire from an outstanding racemare that cost $1 million to buy as a broodmare. It’s little wonder one of Australia’s most astute businessmen bought a leg (25%) in such a fabulous filly.
