The
50th Season Race Win for Dynamic Syndications was achieved on Saturday with a dominant display by our 4yo mare
DUCHESS MARIZZA (Deep Field / Princess Marizza) who as expected, had been turned out in fantastic order by boom Newcastle based trainer
JASON DEAMER.
Perfectly placed by
Adam Watt from Dynamic in a
1600m Class 1 and Maiden Set Weights Plate and then, the smart booking of young gun
apprentice Dylan Gibbons who took a further 2.0kg claim, to see our mare carry just 55.0kgs, on what was a
bottomless Heavy 10 mud heap at Taree, our mare was never troubled as she led most of the trip to post a win in the
INTEGRATED HYGIENE MANAGEMENT CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE by an easy
1.34 lengths over
Ramsey’s Law with
Dunoon back in third spot 2.59 lengths behind our Duchess.
Duchess Marizza crosses the line
The field of 11 runners was spread eagled out over
50 lengths between first and last.
When the gates crashed back,
DUCHESS MARIZZA jumped cleanly from the middle of the machine but wasn’t bustled when a couple drawn inside wanted to take a forward spot. The coolness of our young apprentice was on display as he allowed
Duchess Marizza to get into a rhythm first, and settled a length from the leaders. Then after 150m as the leaders had sorted out their pecking order, Dylan asked our mare to roll forward 3 deep to eyeball the leaders going past the 1200m mark.
Then Dylan asked
Duchess Marizza to make a determined effort to wrestle the lead and the mare responded quickly, putting up a couple of lengths advantage over the field as the eventual third placed horse Dunoon tried to go with us but couldn’t match the turn of foot, so sat at our girth as the field past the 1000m.
From here it was a procession and our horse and rider were never under pressure.
400m
Passing the 600m on the approach to the home turn Dylan took a peek over his shoulder and saw he had those chasing all off the bit, so as the field straightened for the run home Dylan angled the Duchess to the centre of the track and then pushed the
go button and our mare responded dashing clear, allowing Dylan to have an armchair ride to the finish post to record a soft, effortless win for Owners and Punters alike.
200m
100m
Pre-race speed maps had us leading with another couple wanting to go forward and that’s how the race panned out. Importantly, our ratings had our mare a
$1.70 favourite and she was backed in from
$2.60 into $2.15 which was a nice bit of overs for her supporters.
DUCHESS MARIZZA took her career record to 10 Starts: 2 Wins, 1 Second, 2 Thirds & $50,240
