Magic Millions Day 1 was sensational buying when we grabbed 3 colts, matched only by super acquisitions on Day 2.

On Wednesday 8 January, 2025, Team Dynamic are delighted to announce that we purchased two fabulous fillies matched by two colossal colts to take our overall tally to seven yearlings so far joining our stable of stars with two days of selling still to go.

The sales figures appear in line with last year’s results however the market buying bench is very thin, with many deals being done at the stable door after horses have been through the ring.

Whilst transparent and willing vendors are also open about the realistic reserves being set to insure cash flows are being achieved.

It’s a genuine two speed market, with the top 2% of yearlings being in strong demand by the professionals whilst it is hard to spot a buyer at the other end of the market. The middle market where we shop is very light traffic with often only one or two people on a particular lot and as a result many horses are falling through the cracks.

Here is where Dynamic Syndications have had our Wicket-keeping Gloves on and been catching some incredibly desirable yearlings at a fraction of the costs that they would have sold for in recent years.

By Australia’s current multiple times Champion Sire, I AM INVINCIBLE – who stood in 2024 at $275,000 inc GST. Sire of our own superstar mare I AM ME, the sire is a statistical freak! He has 112 Stakes Winners already, with the sire having a sex bias towards his females with 63 Stakes Winning females and 50 Stakes Placed females.

From CHURNING (by Lonhro), stakes-placed; 3 Wins 1000m to 1350m, 3d BRC Mode S., LR. Our new filly is her second foal. CHURNING is a half-sister to Stakes Winner KING KAPA – 6 Wins inc BRC Hinkler S., LR.

CHURNING is a daughter of Stakes Winner EMMALENE – 4 Wins 1000m, 1200m, inc VRC Gucci S., LR. EMMALENE is a half-sister to Stakes-Placed PICKABEE 3d BRC Juanmo S., LR. (Dam of UNCOMMON JAMES - Gr1 Winner.

Genetic Rating A+++; A+++ with a veterinary grade score of 7.

Females bred on the I AM INVINCIBLE over LONHRO mares cross is amazingly successful.

11 Runners; 10 Winners; 4 Stakes Horses inc Estriella (trained by Ciaron Maher).

The sire keeps delivering, year upon year and his demand is strong. This filly was being offered by Coolmore Stud on behalf of UK Based clients who had instructed the stud to place a realistic reserve of service fee upon the filly to ensure she was sold so the client could meet service fee commitments.

We were advised that the Reserve was set at just $180,000 and we were able to buy the filly in the ring at $200,000 + GST becoming a sensational saleyard gift that we can pass on to our owners the opportunity to secure a daughter of a sensational sire with a lovely pedigree both commercially and genetically. We would expect this filly to be similar to I AM ME relating to the fact she will keep getting better with age and owners should anticipate that the filly will make into a lovely 3yo.

Shooting the lights out in the salering after the first two days, there isn’t a struck match between STAY INSIDE ($325,000) and HOME AFFAIRS ($335,000) on the first season sires averages battle for Leading First Season Sires honours.

DEMAND ATTENTION is the daughter of the absolute Champion Australian racemare -

MAKYBE DIVA - Australian Horse of the Year – twice; Champion middle-distance horse of Australia; Head of the 4yo+ Classification: 15 wins; 6 in succession from 1400m to 3200m.

One of the strongest female families in the Australian Stud Book and our filly is the grand-daughter of one of the Best Mares we have ever seen.

When the breeder discovered Dynamic Syndications were the buyer they have jumped back in for 10% to race her with us.

From EXCEL IN THE SUN (by Exceed And Excel). Winner at 1200m.

Our Colt is her first foal.

Half-Sister to Gr2 and Gr3 Placed JEN RULES.

EXCEL IN THE SUN is a daughter of FATE RULES (by ENCOSTA DE LAGO) who is the half-sister to JET SPUR and Critical List and to the Dam of SW LEONARDO DE HINCHI.

EXCEL IN THE SUN is a grand-daughter of Gr3 Winner VEROCATIVE.

Genetic Rating A+ 1,260; A+ 891% with a veterinary grade score of 7+.

Bred for Speed; Bred to be Early; Bred to be Quick.

The only thing wrong here is the price. Top type, sent to meet the market by the owner.

Passed in at $150,000 with a Reserve of $200,000 we liked the colt but in this patchy market we were unable to justify the asking price. Coolmore Stud knew we were interested but we had refused to meet the asking price and the horse ran out of steam at $150,000.

We were asked if we would be interested at the $150,000 last bid in the ring, but we refused, as our last bid was $130,000 and we would honour that bid. After a quick meeting the vendor's agent being Coolmore Stud, whom we have a close working relationship with, agreed to meet us and the horse was sold at $130,000.

Amazing value at significantly less that production cost to secure such a nice individual by a super young sire.

We teamed up with Ciaron Maher and Hong Kong Bloodstock to pay $320,000 which is the highest we have paid for a colt to be syndicated but we were not leaving the complex without him.

Such was the rush to be involved in this special equine athlete, we left the sales complex with 90% of the colt already claimed. So, this colt won’t be promoted publicly as he only has the 2 x 5% Shares available.

TOO DARN HOT (GB) (DUBAWI) Young Sire Sensation! Champion First Crop Sire in Australia last season and Leading Australian Second Crop Sire this season. So good that Darley Stud are not bringing him back to Australia to stand. Now standing in the UK at 90,000 GBP.

His oldest are 3yo’s. Sire of Champion 2yo BROADSIDING, TOO DARN DISCREET, TOO DARN LIZZIE, PERSPIRATION, SIMARILLION, etc.

From FARLINGAYE (by Carlton House – Son of Street Cry). Half-Sister to sp GIGGLESWICK- dam of SW PLAGUE STONE. Half-Sister to Benenden – Dam of SW SPACEWALK. This is a particularly strong Black Type female pedigree.

Genetic Rating A 280%; A+ 552% with a veterinary grade score of 8+.

Cracking Colt by the champion young sire, bred on the TOO DARN HOT over STREET CRY cross that has already produced champion BROADSIDING and excellent filly Arabian Summer.

Note: Only 2 yearlings were bred on this cross in 2023, the other is retained by Darley Stud.

Product Disclosure Statements and Owners Deed will be submitted through to Racing NSW for approval and will be made available once approval letters are returned to our office.

In the meantime, we will be registering potential owner interests in each colt.
