Catalogue Comments from 3 of Australia’s Leading Yearling Judges:
Dr Tim Roberts (Veterinarian)
Dr. Tim Roberts
"This
was an absolutely super buy early in the sale and he represents
terrific value for money. He is a Colt with a lot of athleticism that
will really grow and develop into his frame over the coming months. He’s
got that nice straight hind leg action which I really look for in a
good horse and a wonderful length of reign as well. He floats over the
ground as he walks and really captures your attention. He had Low Risk
X-rays and a Grade one scope.”
Dean Watt (Dynamic Syndications)
Adam & Dean Watt - Dynamic Syndications
"I’ve
been really impressed with the way Pride of Dubai has started his
Stallion career. He’s currently leading 1st Season Sire and producing
quality types. This Colt is another top-sort and has a wonderful
pedigree to match being out of a Gr2 Winning and was four-time Gr1
Performed mare. She 100% as a broodmare and produced Reemah who finished
runner-up to Pride Of Dubai in the Gr1 Blue Diamond and she has another
potential superstar in Californiadeepshot. So, this Colt owns the 2015
Blue Diamond Quinella being by the Winner and the ½ brother to the
Runner-up! This Colt has got a lovely deep girth and a wonderful length
of reign, a great action and he will really grow and develop into a
spectacular looking Colt over the coming 6 months. He gives us every
indication he could be another high quality 2yo.”
Gai Waterhouse (Co-Trainer)
Gai Waterhouse
"Adrian
and I are delighted Dynamic Syndications purchased this outstanding
young Colt to enter the Tulloch Lodge system! We are big fans of the
Pride of Dubai progeny having trained his Stakes Performed 2yo DUBAI
STAR whom will be a force to reckon with over the Autumn. This Colt is
out of a tough and tenacious mare that was Group 1 quality that seems to
be producing her wonderful traits into her progeny. This Colt looks a
real get up and go type and we can’t wait to see him at Randwick in the
coming months "

IS THIS COLT BLUE DIAMOND BOUND ?
What a CLEVER mating this is !
The colt's breeder Emmaroo Bloodstock have put a lot of thought into this mating with the view of developing a precocious 2YO colt:
* Our Colt is by PRIDE OF DUBAI - He WON the 2015 Gr1 BLUE DIAMOND
* Our colt is the 1/2 bother to - REEMAH (f. by Redoute’s Choice)
* REEMAH was 0.2 length Runner-up to PRIDE OF DUBAI in the 2015 Gr1 BLUE DIAMOND
* The 2015 Gr1 BLUE DIAMOND QUINELLA pulsates through the veins of this Top Colt
* Dynamic WON the 2009 Blue Diamond with REWARD FOR EFFORT – Will lightning strike twice?
* He will be given EVERY OPPORTUNITY to aim at the 2021 BLUE DIAMOND
BREEDING
By sire of sires Street Cry (IRE) (Machiavellian), he is out of a
winning stakes-placed, half-sister to Rafha (GB) (Kris {GB}), the dam of
leading stallions Invincible Spirit (Ire) (Green Desert) and Kodiac
(GB) (Danehill).
Co-owned by his breeder Sheikh
Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Coolmore Stud, Emmaroo Bloodstock and
the China Horse Club, Pride of Dubai is assured every chance to make his
mark at stud and fill the void left by his own champion sire Street Cry
who passed away in 2014.
Pride of Dubai is out of a daughter of Danehill (by Danzig) and has
appeal for broodmares by DANZIG his son DANEHILL, his grandsons and
great grandsons.
‘Sex balancing’ (bringing together a son and a daughter of an individual
through a mating) to Danzig is the most successful way to duplicate
this potent influence, producing Group 1 winners GUELPH, ASTAIRE and
SOUTHERN LORD and many other top performers.
Our colt is bred this way - being out of a daughter of Testa Rossa > who is a son of Perugino > who is a son of Danzig.

Our Co-Trainer Adrian Bott said “I was most impressed with Pride Of Dubai’s progeny at the sales last year. The filly out of Eyre we bought at Easter has shown a fair bit of precocity, so I think we’ll see her in the 2yo races. The Magical Mist filly is a really nice type, very athletic, she’s done everything right at this stage of her preparation and then we have Dubai Star and she is a flyer. We’d intend to target his progeny again at the 2020 sales based on what we’ve seen so far. So, we were delighted to be given the colt out of Vormista to train by Dynamic Syndications.”

OVERVIEW
Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry – Al Anood by Danehill), a dual Group 1 winning 2-year-old stands at Coolmore Australia.
Pride of Dubai stamped himself as one of the most exciting colts in Australia when winning the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes and Gr1 ATC Sires Produce Stakes in back to back starts as a juvenile. These two performances were enough to see him crowned NSW Two-Year-Old of the Year and be short listed for the title of Australia Two-Year-Old of the Year.
He retired as the winner of $1.3 million from only five starts.
Pride of Dubai emerged as one of the hottest commodities in world racing in 2015 bringing together a priceless mix of athleticism, race performance and pedigree.
The bay colt is by the former champion stallion Street Cry (sire of WINX) and out of a stakes-placed mare who is herself, a half-sister to Gr1 French Oaks winner Rahfa - who is the dam of champion European sire - Invincible Spirit.
The Snowden-trained colt sustained an injury to a hind fetlock when finishing at the rear in the Gr3 Eskimo Prince S. at Randwick and the decision was made to focus on the next stage of his career.
Bred and raced early in his career by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum, Pride of Dubai ran on late to be a neck second in the colts’ and geldings’ division of the Gr3 Blue Diamond Prelude S. at Caulfield, then came from well back in the field to score at odds of 5-1 in the Gr1 Blue Diamond S. a fortnight later.
Having decided that the Gr1 Golden Slipper would be too much, too soon, connections instead opted for a run in the Gr1 Inglis Sires’ Produce Stakes at The Championships meeting and the colt rewarded their patience with a 0.2-length success.
Pride of Dubai stands at Coolmore Stud as part of a ownership syndicate including: Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum, Coolmore Stud, China Horse Club and Emmaroo Bloodstock.
