With the announcement on Tuesday morning by
Darley Stud of 2021 Service Fees for the 20 stallions on their roster, it was no surprise that they kept their flagship sires at their same fees established the previous year, with
EXCEED AND EXCEL set at $132,000 and LONHRO set at $66,000.
These two fantastic sires are the
cornerstone of
Darley’s success in Australia and they continue ploughing out the winners and the stakes horses year on year ensuring breeders looking for proven success keep flocking to these outstanding sires to uplift their mares.
Just like breeders,
professional buyers keep looking at these same sires strike rates and as a result,
demand for their progeny in the sale ring is constantly high.
With the announcement of the Darley Fees leading the way for all other commercial thoroughbred nurseries to set fees for the stallions they stand,
Dynamic Syndications reflects upon what yearlings we have available in 2021 and what their sires are achieving.
There is an obvious correlation between service fees and sire success.
