The professional market knows the value of one of the Best Female Families in the Australian Stud Book and at the Easter Yearling Sales, there were 4 Yearlings directly descending from this one family in the TOP 10 Sale Prices.
That’s amazing!
These 4 yearlings sold for: Lot 186 - $1.8m (5th); Lot 328 - $1.55m (6th); Lot 349 - $1.5m (7th) and Lot 346 - $1.35m (10th).
That’s a gross of $6.2 million and an Average of $1.55 million!
That’s 40% of the TOP 10 Sales came from this one female family.

The breeder of our Colt has purchased back in for 25%.
Our COLT cost $150,000 (2.25 times Service Fee) whilst the other COLT sells for $1.5million.
Both are high quality individuals; both have the potential to be stallion prospects.
So apart from ego, under all areas of commercial valuations, on a $66,000 Service Fee – how does Lot 349 demand 10-times the price of our DUNDEEL Colt?
$1,500,000 being 22.75 times service fee?
