Wow what a superb win by Dynamic 4yo mare AFRICAN DAISY who swooped on the leaders and dashed clear to score a well-deserved victory when carrying 55.0kgs to claim Race 3 the NED Australian Whisky 3 & 4yo Bm72 over 1500m at Rosehill on Saturday.
Our Annabel Neasham trained mare was ridden a treat by jet pilot Chad Schofield, as our Dynamic Duo sat tucked in behind the leaders in a fast early tempo, and was angled out off heels around the turn, and then 4 deep into the straight. She reeled in the leaders at the 200m, then worked away to score a commanding victory with no excuses for the trailers.
Annabel presented our mare to the races in superb condition, and she ran right up to her looks.
We had the mare accepted for a race at Warwick Farm two days earlier being the Australia Day meeting, but this race looked to set up perfectly for us, so we elected to scratch from that event, and it proved a masterstroke. As a result, our Owners have banked a fatter prizemoney cheque of $76,250.
Our 4yo daughter of AMERICAN PHAROAH x CIGUARAYA has taken her career record to:
11 starts: 3 wins-3 seconds-0 thirds-3 fourths & $167,440.
She has had a good preparation to date, winning first up over 1300m at Scone, before twice fourth at Canterbury over 1550m in close up efforts. Fitter, well and ready for this assignment, she was beautifully placed in this event as a 4yo mare carrying just 55.0 kgs.
The stable has formed an association with Chad Schofield and having ridden our mare in trackwork, he knew what was under the saddle and our mare didn’t let him, or her owners and supporters down.
This was a well-deserved victory for a mare who has always raced honestly and tried hard.
Importantly, this was a valuable city victory, her first of her career, having won previously at Wyong and Scone. She had been a runner-up on a Saturday at Rosehill and also at Canterbury and frustratingly, she also has three fourth places at Canterbury as well.
She has always given us the indication that she will be best at distances of 1600m to 1800m, but fourth up here, with excellent fitness, and a pull in the weights, in a tempo that would see her in a forward position, the race looked winnable on paper, and that’s how it panned out.
CONGRATULATIONS to her DYNAMIC ownership team: Dynamic Syndications Racing, Mr S P Loane, Mr S B Troughton, Mrs A T Woollett, Mr P J Woollett, Mr D Robinson, Mr J Breslin, Mr W E Muller, Mr M R Annabel, Mr K E Phillips, Dr M G Purcell, B & K Ramsey Family, Mr C Gook, Mr D J Hughes, Mr J R Warton, Mr J R Murphy

Team Dynamic purchased AFRICAN DAISY as an unraced 2yo filly in a Magic Millions Broodmare Sale in 2021 for $50,000 and now has three wins and $167,440 in the bank, and is out to her better distances and fitter, the mare looks to be capable to be placed to advantage to the coming months.
This keeps raising her residual value as a broodmare when racing retirement eventuates.
This was another metropolitan victory for DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS this season taking our tally to 14 metro winners, and it was win number 36 for the season. She was also our 806th race win overall.
Onwards and Upwards!
