“A Day at the Breakers” is fascinating to those who have never had an opportunity to witness how a
young horse is introduced to the education process.
There is no better person in Australia to educate young thoroughbreds than our very own
Australian Olympian SHANE ROSE from his BIMBADEEN PARK property at
Werombi on the outskirts of Sydney.
The breaking-in process is vital to give young horses the right foundation to stable life and to give them the education by
“feel” to respond to the commands of the rider.
If young horses pick up bad habits in this early process, sometimes they never give up those vices.
Whilst those that are quick to learn, sensible and eager to please, have a significant advantage over their peers.
On Day 2 of the breaking-in and education process for Dynamic Syndications fabulous yearling filly, by rising star stallion FROSTED from the beautifully bred mare KITE HARAKA was captured on film.
ADAM WATT from Dynamic Syndications was on hand with video camera rolling, along with
Amanda Wood our contracted photographer, as
SHANE ROSE went through his process of teaching our filly to respond to commands.
Joining Adam at BIMBADEEN PARK and keen to see their new yearling filly were two (2) fellow co-owners of our gorgeous grey girl, Felicity Novy and Norm McIlfatrick.
SHANE described his pupil as the
“TEACHER’S PET” based upon her willingness to please and respond to commands in only a few minutes.
We are delighted to share with our Owners and Followers this
vital video clip and some of the
photos Amanda captured on the day.
