Dynamic LORD PARAMOUNT Scores Third WIN for MAHER EUSTACE Team

Brilliant race selection and placement came to the fore on Friday 30/12/22 at Wangaratta, when Dynamic Syndications owned gorgeous grey gelding LORD PARAMOUNT (4yo Frosted x Antarctic Miss) in the expert care of the CIARON MAHER Racing Team, WON Race 7 the Functions @Wangaratta Turf Club 0 - 64 Handicap (1170m), ridden by Harry Coffey, LORD PARAMOUNT carried 60.0kg and had drawn barrier 2.

LORD PARAMOUNT also recorded Dynamic Syndications 802nd Race Win.

LORD PARAMOUNT stopped the clock in a slick 1:08.68 for the 1170m on a Good 4 track.

His effort banked connections $20,625 first prize.

LORD PARAMOUNT had found a Benchmark 64 here, well back in grade after having been a close-up 4th at Canterbury last start in Benchmark 72 grade, when finding the 1250m just beyond his endurance limits second-up from a spell.

Now much fitter for that second-up run, back 80m in trip, down in class, the top weight was ideally placed when carrying 60.0kgs on a 56.0kgs limit before emergencies.

Plus being an on-pace type and drawing ideally in barrier 2, and then, the stable securing Harry Coffey to ride him, all the stars aligned, and the result followed.

Backed-in on every call from an opening price $4.20 into $2.20, the well-prepared LORD PARAMOUNT never let down his connections, and punters alike, with a dominant display equal to the confidence punters had displayed in him in this event.

Having been trained from the Sydney stables for the past few weeks, he had been scratched from a race 8 at Randwick on Boxing Day after drawing awkwardly in barrier 11 of 18 runners.

He was entered into this event and another race on Saturday at Warrnambool over 1200m, but having done our form, this event at Wangaratta looked ideal, and with thanks to a lovely steer from Harry Coffey, the race was never in doubt after the field had thunder the first 100m of this 1170m event.

As the gates crashed back, LORD PARAMOUNT was quickly away from barrier 2 and settled in a forward position as race leader Teetotal speared to the front and Orlando Grove went forward to eyeball the leader, giving Harry and our Dynamic Grey a perfect trail.

Harry angled off the fence passing the 1000m marker to settle in the one/one and from there it was just a matter of how far as the big field of 14 started to string out over a dozen length.

Harry just bided his time, tracking the leaders into the straight before peeling off the back of the front runners to give chase at the top of the straight.

In a blink, LORD PARAMOUNT had swept to the front and had his peers well beaten as the big grey ambled to the line under a cuddle to win by an easy 1.25 lengths with another 1.25 lengths between second and third.
