Mick Price and Mick Kent Jnr's success during the 2022 Adelaide Autumn Carnival has continued
their golden run since switching their training operation to
Cranbourne.

Since relocating from Caulfield at the end of November 21,
Price and Kent Jnr have trained 79 winners from 364 starters at a strike-rate of 20.8 per cent.
Price trained his most winners in a calendar month during the past 15 years in April, winning 24 races from 85 starters - a unbelievable strike-rate of 28.2 per cent!
The Dynamic Duo training combination, which has been together since March 2019, has prepared winners at a strike-rate of more than 20 per cent each month for the past four months, and it is the first time Mick Price has achieved the feat since the 2011.

December 2021: 10 wins from 47 starters (21.3 per cent);
January 2022: 4 wins from 44 starters (9.1 per cent);
February 2022: 11 wins from 48 starters (22.9 per cent);
March 2022: 15 wins from 74 starters (20.3 per cent);
April 2022: 24 wins from 85 starters (28.2 per cent); and
May 2022: 15 wins from 66 starters (22.7 per cent).
"It's fantastic, racing is a tough game and I keep telling the staff to enjoy it while it lasts," Kent Jnr told Racing.com.
Price has previously described Cranbourne, the largest thoroughbred training centre in the Southern Hemisphere, as 'a great place to train horses'.
"Our stable is fantastic. It's got big, airy boxes and it's safe and with good viewing and good access to both the track and the pool," Price said.
Price and Kent Jnr will have plenty of representation during the premier spring races, headlined by their highest-rating horse I'm Thunderstruck, but won’t have recent South Australian Derby (2500m) winner Jungle Magnate as it was sold to Hong Kong.
Price's most wins per month since August 2007:
April 2022: 24 wins (28.2 per cent winning strike-rate);
August 2020: 21 wins (23.6 per cent);
October 2007: 21 wins (27.3 per cent);
March 2011: 20 wins (28.6 per cent); and
September 2008: 19 wins (21.9 per cent).
