Dynamic Syndications are currently well advanced in the syndication of a
terrific yearling colt by exciting first crop sire
STAR TURN from COUNTY CORK (by Fastnet Rock) being raced in
Co-ownership with MAGIC MILLIONS guru,
GERRY HARVEY.
GERRY HARVEY
Bred by Gerry’s
Baramul Stud and sold by Gerry under his New Zealand Stud Farm
Westbury Farm at the
2020 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, Dynamic Syndications purchased the colt because he had
good conformation and his
pedigree has the
commerciality and genetics to be a
serious racing prospect.

OUR COLT
When the colt was knocked down to us at Dynamic, Gerry said he would be happy to
buy a leg (25%) to race him with us because he liked the colt a lot and the colt had always impressed his staff from the time he was a foal. Naturally we were delighted to have Gerry in our team.
On what he is showing
Australian Olympian Equestrian Rider and Dynamic Syndications horse educator and pre-trainer SHANE ROSE at his Bimbadeen Park property, it appears
GERRY and his Dynamic Co-Owners may have yet another quality colt.
STAR TURN
STAR TURN the sire of our colt, was a powerhouse sprinter by noted speed influence stallion Star Witness. A tough, sound, genuine, high-class racehorse with a real spark of brilliance that you must search for in any First Season Stallion. 50% of his lifetime starts were in Group 1 races.
Race Career 12 Starts: 3 Wins, 2 Seconds, 5 Thirds inc Pierro 2YO P., Schillaci S., San Domenico S.
An early 2yo, he won the $150,000 ATC Pierro P. in October of his 2yo season. He won the WFA Schillaci Stakes Gr.2 over 1100m in 1:02.89, defeating older Gr.1 horses Malaguerra and Fell Swoop.
As a 3yo he was never unplaced, and he was the
only 3yo Colt of his generation that measured up to Weight-For-Age (WFA) at Gr.1 level against the older horses in the Autumn.
Progeny of Star Turn were in demand at the Sales with an 89% Clearance at Magic Millions & 100% Clearance at Inglis Classic
The Dam of our terrific COLT is COUNTY CORK.
She is by a CHAMPION, from a CHAMPION and is a half-sister to a CHAMPION !
SAVABEEL
COUNTY CORK is a half-sister to our own champion racehorse and sire SAVABEEL who
won two Gr1 races as a 3yo being the COX PLATE (2040m) and SPRING CHAMPION STAKES (2000m) and was runner-up in the VRC Derby. Now as a stallion,
SAVABEEL has been Champion Sire in NZ for the past 6 seasons.
Gerry Harvey spoke with Adam Watt from Dynamic after we purchased the colt and Gerry purchased back into the colt with us. Gerry was quite open with his views which can be seen here:
Adam & Gerry - Lot 201 Star Turn x County Cork colt from Dynamic Syndications on Vimeo.
Now that the colt has displayed in training he can
"move like a Ferrari instead of a clapped-out VW", and he is showing us similar patterns to what his famous uncle
SAVABEEL showed us at a similar age, we are happy to share this information with our followers.
GERALD RYAN
Our colt is being trained by leading horseman
GERALD RYAN at ROSEHILL.
5% Shares are $7,850 inc GST which represents sensational value for a colt bred like this, with the conformation to match and the endorsement of leading breeder and Magic Millions Owner GERRY HARVEY to like the colt so much that he purchased 25%.
As GERRY said: “Wonderful deal, if you don’t go in it you should be certified!”
