We love being the Primary Syndicator for GAI WATERHOUSE and ADRIAN BOTT – Tulloch Lodge Stables and
their trust in us and
our trust in them was demonstrated on Wednesday afternoon with
further racetrack success.
The stable is
flying and their proven
“Bone and Muscle” style and its extraordinary benefits and ultimate effect their style has on horses, was again on display when our lightly raced
Dynamic galloper ESCAPED (4yo g Exceed And Excel x Se Sauver) Won Race 6 at Canterbury named the Press Statement @ Vinery Benchmark 72 over 1250m.
ESCAPED took his career record to 6 Starts: 3 Wins - 0 Seconds - 1 Third and Earnings of $86,230
Ridden to perfection by
jet pilot Tommy Berry, the
Dynamic Duo gave nothing else a chance as
ESCAPED (57.5kgs) ($4.40 second favourite) and Tommy went straight to the front and that’s where they stayed as the pair crossed the line with an eased down, soft and widening,
3.4 lengths margin to spare over runner-up and $2.10 favourite SAUVESTRE (54.5kgs), with 0.8 lengths back to OLYMPIC LEGEND (57.0kgs) ($5.50) in third.
They ran 1:16.63 with a last 600m in 36.88 secs on a Soft 7 surface.
There was a
howling south-wester blowing into the teeth of the runners down the back straight and pushing them home in the run to the line.
It’s here that the
Gai and Adrian bone and muscle kicked in.
As the gates crashed back, from barrier 4 Tommy went forward as per our horse’s usual style, as Olympic Legend pushed up to try and hold the fence from barrier 1.
However,
Escaped had
superior early speed and after 200m, was able to cross to the fence whilst Olympic Legend tucked into our slip-stream in third spot to get cover whilst the favourite Sauvestre pushed across to sit at the girth of Olympic Legend in second position.
And ….. That’s the way they finished.
His opposition had no excuses as they gave chase from the top of the straight, but the further they went, the further the gap was widening.
Tommy Berry telephoned on his way home from the track, to give us a report about how well
ESCAPED went.
“That was pretty easy, I was always going to lead, and he had too much speed. When I dropped the tempo, he relaxed beautifully for me and I was able to get a couple of cheap sectionals and then he ran away from them” Tommy said.
The plan is he will now step up to Saturday grade and the race we are looking towards is at Randwick over 1300m on the 5th September. Tommy has already confirmed he wants the ride on him.
“I’ll be telling my manager to book it in !” he advised.
“No worries” was our reply.

Credit where its due, horses under the
Dynamic Syndications management are always well placed thanks to the micro-management and placement in races by
Adam Watt and the Team here at
Dynamic.
The
horse husbandry, care and attention our horses receive with Gai and Adrian, and the
incredible horse husbandry experience of Gai Waterhouse has turned
Escaped around, from being a hard-going horse, to one that can be ridden easily.
Our contracted Team of Vets from Centennial Park Vet Practice, led by Dr Tim Roberts, Dr Gary Baitz and their team are looking after our horses so well in at Tulloch Lodge and between
the stables and the vets, the results are there on the racetrack.
Add in
personal friendships with
leading team of go to jockeys, our horses are
performing sensationally and the
recipients of this success, are
our loyal co-ownership teams that own and race our horses.
We can always find nice horses at the right price to be successful with, but
without our wonderful, loyal owners putting their trust in our selection criteria, we wouldn’t be able to be as
successful on the track as we are.
So, a
“Big Thank You” to every owner of every horse at
Dynamic Syndications and an especially big
“Congratulations” to our Team that race
