The 2019 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale produced some stunning results, noteworthy among them new record prices for three (3) stallions which have had more than 2,500 yearlings offered between them.

Snitzel has been a sale ring superstar for several years now but the $2.8 million sale-topping colt by Snitzel out of Ichihara created a new high for his sire, and by some margin - $500,000.
Snitzel has so far had 1093 yearlings offered at sale in Australia and New Zealand, 27 making a million dollars or more, with his highest prior to this year's Easter being $2.3 million for the half-brother to Winx, out of Vegas Showgirl, subsequently named Boulder City and standing at Riverbank Stud in Victoria.

Dynamic Syndications purchased only one yearling at the 2019 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and it was a daughter of Australia’s Champion Sire SNITZEL that stole our hearts and ruled our heads to ensure she became a Dynamic Filly.
Striking early, we purchased Lot 7 a fabulous daughter of Snitzel from the Champion Older Female Stayer in Ireland - FICTIONAL ACCOUNT (IRE) (by Stravinsky).
Fictional Account won 6 races including 2 stakes wins – (Ascot and The Curragh) and started 4 times in Australia for a close up 2nd at Moonee Valley in the Japan Racing Association Plate LR. Overall the mare earned Black-Type on 7 occasions.
FICTIONAL ACCOUNT (IRE) is a half-sister to Gr1 Irish Two Thousand Guineas Winner ROMANISED and to Gr3 and LR Winner ROCK OF ROMANCE.
Her Dam ROMANTIC VENTURE is a half-sister to 3 Stakes Winners including DESIGNS ON ROME 11 Wins including 4 Gr1 Wins and Horse Of The Year in Hong Kong in 2013-14.

It was a sale high by the same $500,000 margin for super sire Exceed And Excel who has had 810 yearlings offered in Australasia to date.
His colt from Written Dash (a Gr3 Winner by Written Tycoon) made $1.7 million at this year's sale, $500,000 higher than his previous best of $1.2 million which was equalled earlier in the sale by Lot 137 a filly from More Than Real (USA).
That $1.2 million price had been reached previously by a colt out of Skating sold at the 2007 Easter Sale, and a filly out of Prophet Jewel that sold two years ago in 2017

For Lonhro the stallion’s new high was achieved from the top priced filly of the sale, out of the mare Dancing Heather which Sold for $1.4 million.
His previous best was back in 2007 when a colt sold for $1.050 million and his third highest price was in 2014 for a filly that reached $840,000.
Lonhro is rising 21 years of age and has had 680 yearlings offered in Australasia throughout his stud career.
He is having a fantastic 2018-19 racing season winning the Gr1 VRC Oaks winner Aristia in the Spring and in the Autumn the Gr1 Blue Diamond with Lyre.
