Depths of Winter in Mudgee. Overnight temperatures of minus -2 degrees is the average; morning frost ensures the grass crackles under foot; whilst Heavy fog has settled in, and we don’t see the sun until mid-morning. Whilst common sense would have most of us indoors with the air conditioning on or fire blazing or still under the blankets, that won’t get our horses worked.
So, as daylight breaks the Team of riders and ground staff under the careful eye and control of outstanding horseman Mack Griffith prepare our horses that are in pre-training as they are readied to return to their city stables, whilst Mack and his Team take the horses that Mack trains in his own name for Dynamic Syndications through their paces.
Whilst it’s a hive of activity, what is really pushing buttons is the development of our new crop of 2yo’s coming through the system.

Adam Watt from Dynamic went to Mudgee on the 31st July, the day prior to the Horse’s Birthday to watch several of our new crop babies under saddle, to see their physical development over the past few months and their progression under saddle since they were broken-in. Adam took his video camera with him and captured the atmosphere (as much of the trackwork vision that the heavy fog allowed), so we can share with Owners and Followers the Adrenalin rush these babies are delivering.
