The professional market didn’t miss the start of his Second Crop foals as they presented in the Inglis Weanling Sale conducted over the past two days.
Standing at a Service Fee of $55,000 Farnan saw 8 of his weanlings offered for sale with 7 selling and 1 passed-in.

FARNAN saw his babies sell here for $190,000, $180,000 (2), $140,000, etc.
Apart from the obvious success in the yearling sales where his first crop averaged 4.5 times Service Fee, there is another big benefit for the sire, which is the whispers coming down the line from the professional yearling educators, who seem to have a universal opinion that they are easy to work, easy to teach, naturals. Free moving, precocious, pre-Christmas 2yo types.
So there is every chance he should have racetrack success before the next round of yearlings sales in 2025.
If they hit the ground running as they are expected to do, those with yearlings to sell will do very well.
