Fusaichi Pegasus is a world force as a stallion. From 1,371 individual runners to date, he has sired 946 individual winners, 186 placed runners and 135 that are unplaced but have won prizemoney.
FUSAICHI PEGASUS - A WORLD WIDE SIRE SUCCESS
That puts the stallion at
92.4% Runners : Earners and 69.0% Runners : Winners.
However it’s not just in this capacity that he is considered a leading sire.
The fact is now he is producing the results on the racetrack, through his daughters at stud. Still from limited opportunities in this arena,
FUSAICHI PEGASUS is proving an emerging force as a
Broodmare Sire.
This afternoon at Geelong, the 2200m 3yo Geelong Classic LR went the way of the promising
Gamblin’ Guru, a son of
New Approach from
Glory Guru, a daughter of
Fusaichi Pegasus.
Gamblin’ Guru became the 17th Stakes Winner as a Broodmare Sire for Fusaichi Pegasus.
His daughters have produced 310 individual winners from 533 runners, with a further 98 placegetters and 73 that have earned prizemoney. That represents an excellent 90.3% of the progeny of his daughters have earned prizemoney whilst almost 60% of the progeny of his daughters are winners.
From this group, he is the Broodmare Sire of 17 Stakes Winners and 17 Stakes Placegetters. The Australian participants of these stakes winners are:
Niagara
Aeronautical
Darci Be Good
Euryale
Gamblin’ Guru
Incredibly from just
11 horses in total bred by
Encosta De Lago out of Fusaichi Pegasus broodmares, they have produced 5 individual winners and 3 placegetters including 2 stakes winners being
Niagara and
Aeronautical and also the stakes placed
Kyria.
Odds are stacked heavily in the favour of our
Encosta De Lago / Fusaichi Rose (by Fusaichi Pegasus) 2yo filly who is being trained by Champion Trainer
Chris Waller. With these statistical results supporting such a great type and with the best trainer, her owners have a great chance of racing and breeding success.
