How training stables are truly performing - the Winners and the also ran’s!
The Stables that get headlines are exposed how they are actually performing, rather than media free kicks to some over others.
The facts are produced in Black and White.
Below are the performances of interest to Team Dynamic:
CIARON MAHER & JAMES McDONALD
AUSTRALIA’S Number One Trainer in 2024/25 was
CIARON MAHER with 330 Wins
AUSTRALIA’S Runner-Up was
CHRIS WALLER with 274 Wins (-56)
This is the third straight season that CIARON MAHER has defeated Chris Waller to claim the Australia’s Best Trainer title.
CIARON MAHER also Won the Melbourne Metropolitan Title whilst Chris Waller claimed the Sydney Metropolitan title.
CIARION MAHER had the Superior Strike Rate between the pair: 13.6% to 11.4%
CIARON MAHER broke the Australian Record for EARNINGS when he smashed through the $60 million glass ceiling. Ciaron’s horses earned a total of $60,577,616. This was a massive $5,011,687 more than runner-up Chris Waller horses earned $55,565,929.

Next, we dive into the data of the trainers DYNAMIC SYNDICATIONS partnered with in 2024-25.
Many have smaller stables. Whilst they can’t compete with the big boys, they can compete by two exact comparison tools - Strike Rate % and by Return On Investment (ROI).
By ROI’s Jason Deamer leads our Dynamic trainers at $0.93, ahead of Gai & Adrian at $0.92, Michael Hickmott $0.91, Annabel & Rob Archibald at $0.90, Richard & Will Freedman at $0.89, Chris & Corey Munce at $0.85 and Ciaron Maher at $0.77 (Waller at $0.72).
Whilst by Strike Rate Percentages our Dynamic trainer leading this race was Michael Hickmott who had a wonderful 21.1%. Michael was head and shoulders ahead of our other Dynamic trainers being: Jason Deamer 16.5%, Gai and Adrian at 16.0%, Richard & Will Freedman were at 15.7%, Annabel & Rob were 14.9%, Ciaron Maher was at 13.6% and Chris & Corey were at 12.3% (Waller was at 11.4%)

Special Mention goes to our Trainer JASON DEAMER.
Fiona & Dean Watt, Zac Lloyd, Jason Deamer & Adam Watt - Dynamic Team
Jason only has a dozen active boxes at Newcastle. He is almost a private trainer for Dynamic Syndications, as most of his boxes are occupied by our horses.
Jason trained 23 Winners for the season, with 22 of these Winners wearing our Colours.
5 of these 22 Wins for us were metropolitan wins. Jason’s earnings broke through the $1million barrier when earning $1,018,025.
Dynamic Syndications recorded 20 metropolitan Wins for the season and Jason trained 5 (25%).
Whilst amongst our 61 Wins for the season, Jason trained 22 for us 36.1%.
This data reveals what a wonderful job Jason Deamer does for Dynamic Syndications and the racetrack success he delivers for our various co-ownership teams.
