JUST IN TIME Jason Deamer Trains 21st SEASON WINNER For DYNAMIC OWNERS Claiming PINK CUP at Newcastle!

In racing, timing is everything – and Dynamic Syndications talented 4YO mare JUST IN TIME delivered hers with pinpoint precision on Saturday, storming to a dominant, eased-down victory in Race 7, the BELMONT 16’s HBCF PINK RACE DAY CUP – a Provincial Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1300m – at Newcastle.



Trained locally by Dynamic Jason Deamer and guided with supreme confidence by top jockey Aaron Bullock, our daughter of JUSTIFY x PICKIN’ TIME jumped a dominant $1.90 odds-on favourite and proved far too good, bounding away from the field in the straight to win by a widening 2.89 lengths, despite being eased down over the final 50 metres.



Behind her, Contributingfactor and Benamera fought out the minors, separated by a nose.

Perfectly Placed, Brilliantly Ridden, JUST IN TIME jumped cleanly and was up disputing the lead early, but in a tactically smart move, Aaron Bullock restrained her after 200m to take a trail behind the early leader Dubai Gold. She settled third, about four lengths off the front. Sitting second was Contributingfactor, we settled two lengths off that runner, but was momentarily hampered by the longshot Swift Gun, on our outside who raced ungenerously, wanting to lay-in and bump our mare. 

There was no change in the order passing the from the 1000m to the 400m mark. As the field swept for home, Contributingfactor ranged up to challenge Dubai Gold. But JUST IN TIME was tracking into the race beautifully and, as they straightened, Bullock peeled three wide and set her alight.


Away she goes ! 


Hands and Heels

At the 200m, the mare responded instantly. With a simple hands-and-heels ride, she lengthened powerfully, bounding clear to put the race beyond doubt in a matter of strides.



Over the final 100 metres, she had the race won, and in a canter was geared down late —


JUST IN TIME was simply airborne 

the margin could easily have been even greater.

Right Decision Pays Dividends. Importantly, JUST IN TIME had also accepted for a race on Tuesday at Newcastle over 1400m. But after assessing the options, the connections elected to run here over 1300m in the feature event. The authoritative nature of her win confirmed it was absolutely the right decision.

This was the mare’s third career win from just 8 starts, and her second success on the bounce after a previous win at Hawkesbury, and her second success at Newcastle. JUST IN TIME took her earnings to $89,225 in prizemoney.
