Flying Mare OTTILE Wins Easily at WARWICK FARM

It was as much an emotional relief, as it was excitement about the domination of the Victory of classy Dynamic Syndication 4yo mare OTTILIE that swept over the Team at Dynamic Syndications on Wednesday afternoon at Warwick Farm.

It was relief in the fact that an extremely frustrating run of placings had been broken for horses carrying the Dynamic Silks.

Followers of our Dynamic Stable of Horses would be aware that in the last month our horses have had 11 placings (6 seconds and 5 thirds) and many close-up fourths. Prior to this Win, we had secured our 52nd Race WIN of the season on the 6th June, since then it was a run of frustrating placings.

However it was our JASON DEAMER Trained OTTILIE (Air Force Blue ex Angora) (58.0kgs) (Barrier 8) ($5) who was the sensation of the meeting at Warwick Farm, when she won Race 6, the TAB Handicap 1300m, Benchmark 72 for 3yo’s and Upwards Fillies and Mares, in a field of 9 runners, by an eased down demolition job of 2.92 lengths over runner-up Terra Mater (57.0kgs) ($6) with Smart Little Miss (58.0kgs) in third spot 4.63 lengths behind us with 15 lengths covering the field when the camera flashed.

Ridden well by apprentice ZAC LLOYD who claimed 1.5kgs reducing our mare’s weight from 59.5kgs to carry 58.0 kgs, on a Soft 6 surface she ran a sizzling Time of: 1:16.71 Last 600m: 0:35.49.

They were the simplest of instructions given to the excellent young apprentice, “go to the front and improve on your position,” and he rode the mare perfectly for the assignment. Travelling sweetly, our mare responded to Zac’s commands, and as the field swung for home. he slipped a little rein to our mare, and she put a length gap on the field as they balanced for the run home.

Then at the 300m Zac pushed the “go-button” and our mare left the field flat-footed as she put a break of 4 lengths over those chasing with 100m to run and our Dynamic Duo were able to idle down over the final 50m to post a 2.98 length Margin.

It was like “shelling peas” and nobody could begrudge the victory of our mare who was third-up from a spell here, after being runner-up at Randwick on Saturday 27 May, when resuming over 1200m from barrier 11 of 17 runners after leading all the way. Then second-up at Randwick again over 1200m she drew the widest runner in a fast run race and couldn’t get to the lead and was trapped wide throughout before a blanket finish saw her finish a very close up fourth.

Here at Warwick Farm, despite being up 2.0kgs in weight, she was down in grade and up in distance to a better suited 1300m.

OTTILIE took her promising career record to 12 Starts: 4 Wins, 4 seconds & 2 fourths & $126,930.

Her 4 wins are from 1100m to 1300m having broken her maiden at Hawkesbury over 1100m, she has since won 3 times at 1300m from just 5 starts at the trip.

OTTILIE likes the give in the ground and has been brought back into work to target winter races and her three starts this preparation have been excellent. On a Good surface her record is: 6:1-2-0 whilst on a Soft Track her record is: 6:3-2-0.
