Back-to-back 4-0 wins over Western Sydney Wanderers and Central Coast Mariners in the last fortnight shows Sydney FC are a major force in the 2016/17 season.
For Sydney FC staff and fans, it will be interesting to see the mind-set the Sky Blue squad will carry their sensational Hyundai A-League form into the Cup.
They have been professional and ruthless in the competition so far and Graham Arnold will have his team primed to ensure no room for complacency.
